I think there is a real possibility at the moment that the storm moves fast enough that the rain/wind are tapering off by game time. Obviously there would be rough weather leading up to the game, but the weather at game time might be acceptable to play.

This isn’t a political statement but at this point I hope Trump decides to stay in DC. Way too many other things for officials in Tuscaloosa to worry about outside of that.

One scenario I’ve seen is moving Kick back to 8:00….I could see that

At this point that makes the most sense assuming the storm doesn’t do any damage on its way through which I wouldn’t expect

no one should take it as a political statement , its the most common sense thing to do for them and Tuscaloosa.
So much whining by the Georgia fans on social media talking about the game shouldnt be played, thinking its going to be moved to Georgia if they cry enough.
Now the forecast saying it is going to clear up for the game, maybe a later kickoff. So their fans are now saying what about the fans trying to get to the game , I guess nobody cares about us just the players.

Nobody cares about the fans because we can make a decision to not be there and it doesn’t affect no one.

One other factor to consider is that, even if the storm moves out in time to play Saturday night, what kind of power outages and damage are there in the Tuscaloosa area. That could impact whether the game is played. Won’t really know that until the storm comes through, though.

“We’re gonna move the game to Tuesday so I can go. They wanna do it. They’re calling it Trump Tuscaloosa Tuesday. I said that’s pretty good. I wish I’d thought of it. Smart people. It’s a college. But we’re moving the game to Tuesday at 10am and it’ll be tremendous. It was my idea and no one else had even considered it. I said ‘hey why not Tuesday?’ and everyone thought that was great. No one had thought of Tuesday before can you believe it?
They’re renaming Lake Lurleen to Lake Trump. They love me”

nobody with a brain thinks this. Please don't think Facebook is how a fanbase actually thinks.

If they end up moving this thing to Athens it'd be nice if there was a condition that the next time we play UGA in the SECCG, it's played in Bryant Denny.

If this is right the storm is out of Tuscaloosa by 1pm Saturday. I think we can play at 6:30. And usually these things speed up so it may be through earlier than that
They also factor in folks having to drive to and from the game.

Gotta agree here. Most of the Facebook fans (all fanbases) can't even name the head coach
That's why I try to avoid Twitter and Facebook. It's overflowing with unabashed retards... which speaks volumes cause I read the rant everyday

Newest info shows less intensity with it speeding up.
If this storm is a non-factor on Saturday night then a local met is gonna be really upset.

He will have already milked this event for all the publicity he could get.
Glad I used his doom forecast yesterday to get a good price on tickets.
