It’s 5 days until the game. They also said we would have 31 hurricanes hit the US by now.

No.

Best scenario is to move the kickoff to 11 AM.

We're gonna need that bye week to stay where it is to heal up for the final run of LSU, Vandy, Auburn and a potential SEC title game.

They’re talking many projections which would landfall the storm Friday night which would send it through Tuscaloosa right around midday.

In other words that ain’t gonna work given current uncertainty as to timing.

Then push it to Sunday. There's precedence for it. Screw the NFL.

Nah. It's just gonna be rain. Who cares? The hardest hitting "hurricane" rain i've seen this far north in Tuscaloosa was Ivan, and it was just constant rain with a stiff consistent wind for hours and hours. Would have been playable. Unless thing thing cranks out tornados, we'll be aight.

Keep bye for lsu. duh

We've had 1 great weather home game (South Carolina) and 2 heat stroke inducers, lightning delays and now a tropical storm game.

I wish it could be moved to Sunday night if I could just work magic. Maybe something will change...but right now it's looking like a miserable experience for fans. Tailgating decimated on the quad and sitting like soaked rats for 3 hrs...assuming no delays.

This has the eye of the storm out of Tuscaloosa and almost into Tennessee by 2pm Saturday. If may move through and be past us by Saturday morning.

If this weren’t a top 3 game of the year that’d probably be the play.

I don’t think they want it competing with the NFL for ratings.

As it stands I wouldn’t be shocked to see it rescheduled completely or moved.

I think there’s a dwindling chance this is getting played Saturday night as is. Wasn’t it early 2000’s there was a miserable game against USM? Rained sheets the whole time. Might have been a hurricane .
