I know that's a common theme, but it's just not true. IF you watched the game, they showed a replay from behind the offense. When Hubbard clapped, the ref in the very back of the defense threw the flag. The announcers were just too stupid to see it. But you can clearly see the ref throw the flag.

I get the criticism for Grubb. I really do. There were several instances where he made head scratching calls.
The pick 6 wasn't one of them for me. He called a screen pass. The DE just made a great play.
We just scored 45+ points in each of our first 2 games for the second time in history (think I heard that stat).
I'm not sure what it will take to make some of you happy. :banghead:

According to GMac, UK put all of their NIL into the offensive line. He says they should be their best group just based on spending. I feel like our defense as a whole is good enough to stand up to most any offensive group. I expect our offense (as long as something doesn't go haywire early) to be able to move the ball quite a bit on UKs defense.

I just can't believe the SEC is going to all this trouble if there isn't something else that the public doesn't know about.

As far as LSU fans thinking going independent is the answer, there's no guarantee you get the same CFP deal as ND. Without that preferred treatment, you're just another team with a Group of 5 schedule trying to look impressive enough to get in.

For a program that finished in the bottom half of the conference in Football last year, finished 14th in baseball, and dead last in basketball, y'all sure do talk a lot about other people's downfall.

The last time each "Big 3" sport completed its season, LSU finished 10th, 14th, and 16th.....in the conference.

I'm not here to argue, I just want to give input that I heard today that I found very enlightning.

The NBA is not called the Mens National Basketball Association, its just the NBA, if you're good enough to play in it, anybody can.
Now the WNBA was created to give a chance to women who weren't good enough to compete in the NBA a chance to play professionally.

Same is true with the Little League World Series, nowhere in the name does it call itself the Boys LLWS, so if you're good enough to compete, so be it.

I had never thought of that distinction in this way, but it makes sense to me.

Heard on a podcast or on Jox that the Marshall kicker is on the Groza award watch list, Talty isn't. Probably not often that somebody doesn't even win the starting position while being on the watchlist for being the best in the country at that position.
