Reid is a willing defender. When healthy he's got good feet to cover guards on a switch. Strong enough to hold his own down low.
I was disappointed in his offensive game, especially in the paint. Rarely went up strong on the drive, instead always tried to avoid contact and double/tripple clutch a layup instead of just challenging the defender.
All the other posts about his outside shot are noted also, he's got work to do.
There were times when he seemed to predetermine that it was his turn to get a shot and just took one regardless of the situation.
Including football, my favorite is basketball.
If team chemistry was as strong on the AU team as reported (and there's no reason to believe otherwise), and they couldn't reel Jakhi in, I doubt anybody else would be able to.
1973 Bama vs Cal in Birmingham. 66 - zip.

With the line up where it is right now, who/where do we turn to get a bucket when it gets late in the shot clock/end of half? I mean, its not like we've been good at this in the past two seasons, but where do yall see us going?

I don't want Chest on the team, much less in the starting lineup. Dude had 1 good game and did nothing the rest of the season.

Arab Alabama has no rules against playing vs women

So I said this yesterday, but portal news should not be allowed during april fools day pranks.

Is there any interest on Bama's part that Sam Walters is back in the portal?

I would love for nate to go get whoever is evaluating Florida's bigs. They seem to have bigs that would fit our system perfectly. Not sure why Nate hasn't gone to more of a Euro Big.
The SEC will be favored in 4 of the 6 games. Would be cool to have 6 of the elite 8 left.
not every SEC team will be the higher seed or the favorite in their first round game. Some of the SEC teams losing is actually what is expected. Not sure why folks think if 14 teams don't advance, that it proves something.

How did Duke do against Kentucky?

interesting timing for this question given where AU plays saturday. Zero wins for AU in Rupp in over 20 years.

I had a blast watching that game.
I wish Bama could play LSU 12 times in a season.

You've got to take into account just how bad we are at working clock and getting shots late in the shot clock. 1) We are turnover prone, so holding the ball longer just increases the chances we don't get a shot at all and 2) our dribble drive and kick game doesn't set up well for late shot clock opportunities. I have no inside info, but my guess is that Nate wants the guys taking the first good look they get even when the "book" says hold it and work the clock.
I just want to get the 1 seed in the south where Bama can play in Atlanta instead of Indy.
