You have to wonder at this point if Gameday is still coming.

Unless this thing pushes further West or a lot farther east. I don’t see what choice they have.

I just canceled my hotel in Gulf Shores for this weekend. Customer service was like, "we totally understand!"

If this is right the storm is out of Tuscaloosa by 1pm Saturday. I think we can play at 6:30. And usually these things speed up so it may be through earlier than that

Yeah, gotta move this thing or reschedule. Winds in the 30s, possible downpours...just a miserable experience for all involved. Could even have some spotty power outages.

Do we really want people travelling around the state before, during and after this shite?

We are in Orange Beach now and will probably have to leave on Friday rather than Saturday now.

Let’s all go to the coast and start shooting at the hurricane

Yeah I said that in the other thread. It’s predicting 1PM now on Tuesday but if it slows just 3-4 mph you have 4-6 inches of rain and hurricane like winds. Not ideal for traveling or for playing football.

Why not move it up 24 hours and play it Friday night?

You could, or after but logistically how does that work. Fans, tickets, etc.

Update. It’s slowed down. About the same track. 7PM around Tuscaloosa. For anyone who doesn’t know NOAA updates every 6 hours.

Well, if we can’t move it to Friday or Sunday, I say cancel the game. No way in hell would I move it to Georgia’s home field just to get it in! I’m not really fond of moving it toward the end of the season either. Need to be healthy and rested for the sec championship and a playoff run hopefully.
