The problem is a 2:30 game is 4 hours, so you now have the Storm reaching Tuscaloosa about the time it’s ending with 100K + people in there.

Honestly as bad as it sucks 11am makes sense, get out by 2:30, everyone gets gone. Anyone traveling south just can’t do it. Have to stay in Tuscaloosa until Sunday.

Or simply move the game not simply but you know what I mean. If anyone dies because of this game either to or from it would have been completely avoidable and no sense in it.

It moved a tick more east. They removed the time on target west of Tuscaloosa on this release. Right now slamming between Mobile and Pensacola.

Most of the bad stuff is usually on the East side of the storm. Actually think this may work out and game can go on. May be some rain still in the area but the really nasty stuff should be way east of Tuscaloosa if this track holds.

The track still calls for most of the storm to be in Alabama Saturday afternoon with Tuscaloosa still affected. If this current track holds for another day, they’ll move the game to another day.

I’m thinking the game is pushed back an hour at most. This storm will be a fast mover and be out by kick off. Tailgating will be a no go but I bet it doesn’t get pushed to Sunday.

Petition to the SEC: The state of Georgia has put out more carbon emissions than Alabama and therefore had a bigger hand in causing climate change.

This hurricane is their fault and they should be made to forfeit.

Let’s hope for a faster moving storm. It would be nice if the GFS solution played out, because most of the weather would be out of central Alabama by game time. Not sure that would happen but I think a faster moving system gives us the best chance of having this game played Saturday night.

It could be worse... you could have bought nonrefundable box seats for the game

If the storm is in North Alabama by afternoon, the game will go on as planned IMO.

The issue is we are probably under 24 hours from when they need to make a call on this because of all the logistics.

Another problem is..UGA is staying in Birmingham so you gotta make sure they get to BHam safely and from Birmingham to Tuscaloosa on Saturday during the storm, safely

Another update in about 45 mins. Let’s see if they time track back in northern Alabama. Storm will be greatly weakened but still kicking off in 40 mph wind is not great haha.

Move it to 8pm if necessary if the track is still as fast as it’s been

I mean, they’re not going to cancel the game entirely. Those tickets would still be good regardless and there’s no way we’re moving this to Athens.

Either play it later Saturday night or move it to another date (doubtful)
