I think Hellams is in over Wright. We are in nickel more than 50 percent of the time also and I expect JAD there or the JUCO Ronald Williams there. This defense on paper looks very very promising.

I wouldn’t sleep on Ekiyor. I know he didn’t look great early but the staff must really like his potential because he was getting a lot of snaps until he got hurt. I could easily see Dickerson staying at center and Ekiyor moving into LG if Neal slides out.

Ekiyor is a better guard than Neal. Just saying

Offense

QB: Bryce Young
RB: Najee Harris
LT: Alex Leatherwood
LG: Landon Dickerson
C: Darrian Dalcourt
RG: Deonte Brown

WR: Jaylen Waddle
WR: DeVonta Smith
WR: John Metchie
TE: Miller Forristall

Defense

DE: LaBryan Ray

MLB: Dylan Moses
MLB: Christian Harris
OLB: Christopher Allen

*Note - I haven’t been to any practices, so I had no idea really which players were next in line to start. It’s mostly based off their recruiting rankings. If I put someone as the starter & you’ve heard or feel someone else will start, let me know & I’ll change it.

Ruggs declared, so does that likely mean our main WRs will be Waddle, Smith, and Metchie?

Any chance Harris moves to the outside, so McMillon can start next to Moses?

ILB: Moses and McMillon
OLB: Allen and Harris

Having Bryce Young as QB1 is ridiculous.

If Bama played today, Mac Jones starts. When a day comes where that's not true, then pencil in someone else's name.

These people saying Young starts are ridiculous. Mac has proven to be a good SEC quarterback. And if Young is as slight as people are saying, there is no chance he starts.

You can bet that coach will move guys around and experiment during spring practice like he always does. I think Harris could definitely play outside but I really like him inside. I am hoping Allen and maybe a freshman or two can get after the quarterback and set the edge on defense leaving Harris and Moses inside. That is a lot of athleticism at ILB and experienced depth behind them for a change.

I can’t hand Young the starting QB position before he even steps on campus. But thank you for this information you saved me some google work I must admit.

I’m curious as to why OP thinks Bryce will be the starter. Bryce will not be starting for Bama when we kick off vs USC

Bryce Young seems to have his head on straight from what little I've heard from him. He came to Bama whether Tua stayed another season or not. Starting is obviously not an issue in year one. Had he, on the other hand, come in with the bravado of a Trey Sanders who wanted to win the Heisman as a freshman, we could have some issues.

Young folks tend to be super impatient and want what they want by yesterday. Young seems to be more mature than that. Now, the young folks over here as football fans, not so much.

It’s best not to look for sound judgment from the OP.

I think we need to sign some dynamic receivers with length for Bryce. Shame they saw our WR room and went elsewhere.

true. however, if BY is as good as advertised and catches on fast. do you really think they'll force him to sit his first year like they did tua, until they have no other choice. i'm not sure they'll make that same mistake twice. "IF" BY, if good enough to start halfway thru the season, i think he will.
