I think they double bracket Jamo and take away deep. We'll have to get creative to get him the ball.

If we have other receivers step up and be a deep threat on the other side we will be fine.

I was confident in a Bama win in the SECCG. I feel like this will be a tight game unless we jump out first and make Stetson beat us.

I keep coming back to…

Young is so much more dynamic and it’s so hard to play defense nowadays. Bama has to win right? That’s a substantial difference maker

I actually feel pretty good except for the Jeckyll and Hyde personality of this team.

I think we are a bad matchup for UGA as we can win games multiple ways on offense and our defense can make Bennett uncomfortable.

Protect Bryce, stop the run (basically hold the line of scrimmage), minimize the penalties and don't turn the ball over and give UGA short fields on offense and there a good shot for a win. I believe Bama will do these things for the most part.

Honestly I would love to force UGA to play from behind early although that is probably wishful thinking. I have a feeling it is going to take a quarter or so for Bennett to get settled due to the pressure of the game and Monken may give him some easy throws to help out his nerves. If we can make tackles early we maybe can get some 3 and outs and maybe get that early lead.

As long as ESPN doesn't feature the Rolling Stones "Gimme Shelter" during the broadcast we'll be fine.

We are 0-2 in championship games with that song.

I actually think that won't happen. Kirby isn't that dumb to do that to allow Brooks and others to have a field day against them.

I think they will take away the deep ball, and make us work our way up the field. That's more realistic approach. They know TEs has history of dropping the ball. They know Brooks/WIlliams can burn them.

Alabama can keep defense honest by spreading them out often and throughout the game. In another word, I expect us to pull a Clemson on them. Clemson did us dirty when we had the old school defense ...

Same here. I didn't have any doubt Bama would beat Georgia the 1st game. I don't have a good feeling at all about this game though. Going to be a tough game, Bama's defense has to play better then they did the 1st game. Bennett has no business putting 24 points on this defense.

That's fine as a concept but how would he actually implement that? If he goes cover two safties high we will gut them running the ball. I get they have an otherworldly front-7 but we run tempo and get a couple of first downs and they're main asset is going to be gassed.

So how?

If they play CBs deeper we will throw short and force them up.

I don't see how they can take away all deep (safeties high) and then consistently stop run. Hence why I think they just double bracket Jamo's side and keep one safety low for slants and run support on other side.

This is arrogance. That TE they have is an absolute monster and allows Bennett's running ability to be even mor effective a threat. They also will have Pickens near full healthy and other weapons.

That Bowers kid alone is a beast. That's why I said after Bryce he is the next biggest factor in this game.

Listening to SiriusXM this morning, they had Aaron Murray on.
He spoke like Georgia can't lose. Clean up a few mistakes, by watching film, that were made in the SECCG, and no problem.
Danny K. even called him out on it, asking if Alabama should even bother showing up.
Our boy GMac would never stoop to believing Alabama can win a big game.

I agree because Williams is the most dangerous after he catches. I believe he leads the country in YAC and avg 20 yds per catch. I also heard this morning he is #1 in catches for 20+, 30+, 40+, 50+, 60+, and 70+ yards for the season.

If they focus on the deep ball and allow Williams to have the area behind the LBs he will have 150+ in tonight game.

It will look like this all night long

If I've proven anything over the years, it's that whatever gut feeling I have about a game has pretty much never been accurate.

I'm honestly stunned this team has made it this far, rebuilding, injuries etc. I thought that this would be a 2 or 3 regular season loss year.

Since we're playing with house money, at least in my mind they are, I hope they come out and play confident and loose.

Brooks has shown he can win 1v1 against future NFL dbs. I expect us to test this tonight.

I don't know how I feel. I was right about the seccg. My mind tells me it will be more difficult this game, but some part of me thinks uga does't match up well.
