Some of you guys are a bunch of melting pussies. Just because he was rated high as a recruit doesn't mean he is an automatic All-Star in college. The kid hasn't played a down of college football and you guys act like we lost the next Tom Brady.

His Alabama tenure so far had been one week and we have people ready to jump ship. That’s how you wind up wandering in the coaching wilderness like the Tennessee’s of the world.

This isn't the end, expect half of the newly signed class to leave.

Bye, bye playoffs for the next two years.

Sayin hasn’t done shite. Who cares.

I appreciate that you're trying to be positive in a sea of melting Bama fans the past few weeks, but there's really no way to spin this. It's a big loss.

A lot of these guys were just here to play for Saban

Well then good riddance. Go play somewhere else, Saban aint coaching there either. I remember when Bama had Spencer Pennington and Brandon Avalos starting. Bama isnt even in that stratosphere of bad.

Here in reality, no two players make or break a team. We're going to be just fine.

Getting tired of waking up to an ESPN alert first thing in the morning with more bad news.

So seriously doubt we get Ryan Williams back in the fold for a big win now. Don't even have that carrot of playing with the #1 ranked QB recruit.

I know these guys "came for Saban" but I don't think Jupiter Beach, FL is an available landing spot in the portal.

We don’t know that. Who knew Sayin was considering leaving? For all we know there were 20-30 guys wavering but were convinced to stay. We just don’t know either way.

It is a huge loss and unfortunately you can expect more to follow him. We knew that we’d have a bunch of transfers but now it’s threatening to reach the critical point. We will be fine in time but at the moment it’s going to sting!

Y'all are surprised that losing the GOAT coach has significant negative roster implications?

Get kids in that want to be a part of the program.

Agreed, Sayin was a sure thing. Mack is a project at best.

Noone knows this. We know that we already have some QBs that can play already on the roster

The melt here is unreal…

Y’all are acting like we just brought back Seth, hired BoB, and swapped QBs with a similar talent level…

DeBoer prioritized his staff, and it’s a good one. Let’s see what we make of recruiting now that it’s in place.

A true freshman was not going to start. Sayin probably told coach he was thinking of leaving and DeBoer knows Milroe isn’t he guy.

100% agree. It wouldn’t shock me if DeBoer didn’t even try to save Sayin.

This shite doesn’t work anymore. Signing 3 star guys who “want to be at bama” won’t win crap. It’s the NIL era. All the big time schools are stock piling talent and if they lose big time talent they just go poach it from someone else. That’s the biggest thing from this. It’s open season on our roster, but we can’t replace any of it until AFTER spring. And we can’t even replace it with SEC players. Hell the Washington players that are worth a damn in the portal aren’t even a lock to transfer here. Our NIL collective can’t even keep the guys here and you want me to believe we’re gonna poach who we want in the spring? We needed to keep as much of the current team together as we could so that hopefully year one with KD could prove to recruits and transfers we were still a premium landing spot. We struggle year one, good luck getting recruits and transfers to come to Bama for a pay cut
