I’d love for him to be back but I really hope that’s not the case. I don’t see how an Oats system works with just one guard, who’s not naturally a PG, bringing the ball up for us all year. Think about all our prior teams. Every team had multiple veteran guards we could plug and play.

If you go back and watch, Bathea was completely lost on defense. It was like the game was too fast for him. Picked up the wrong switch, was constantly looking for the right person to guard. Biz might get bodied, but he knows who to guard.

In other news, Mo D is joining Will Wade. Lost all my respect for that guy.

I watched a lot of Carolina basketball this year and last. Trimble is in the portal. He would be an amazing fit in an Oats system. Uber athletic and plays excellent defense. Would be an awesome get.

I wanted him too. Think it’s a sleeper pick up. He’s clutch and plays decent defense. Oh well.

Kentucky lost out on Gwath two years in a row… oof. Gave poor Pope the nope.

Doubt we paid anywhere near that… seems like bullshite.

I wouldn’t put too much stock on any number, for any recruit, being thrown around right now. I’m sure some of the agents are throwing this out to help drive the price up for their clients.

I know he’s been linked to Kentucky as of late but Magoon Gwath would be a good get for us. Averages 1.4 blocks per game and shot over 40% from 3. Seems like a better fit than Dak actually.

He has an NBA future if he gets in shape and plays the 4 position. I don’t want to lose him, but Mike Malone is a decent fit as a coach. We asked him to play 5 all year. We were extremely limited there hence the Bediako experiment.

He could be great here, too, if we rotate between 4 and 5. We desperately need a 5 to give him flexibility between positions. Granted, still has to put the work in to get in shape.

I’m 100% going to a few PC games this year. Not too far for me and happy to support Hodgson.

I don’t blame Bradley for leaving considering the situation. Hard to say he got better at Arizona. We played him as a true freshman on a loaded team. Could make the argument he would have had better numbers if he stayed. Who knows.

I really hope we give him a look. Not sure how many programs are contacting him. He can drive, decent numbers from 3 and plays good defense. Seems like a perfect fit.
