Where in the world was this? State went all out multiple times, and Jalen is just back there a sitting duck. Can't throw the ball before the receivers even get into their routes. Call a RB screen for fricks sake.

Daboll called 3 bad plays.

Considering how little we had the ball I thought our plan and execution were damn good.

No. Just no. Did you see his offense at Florida?

Typical Bama dip shits. Ignore that the defense got pushed around for four quarters and blame the offensive play calling.

Officially: at least you tried making a thread. Not a good idea, but A+ for throwing retarded caution to the wind and seeing if anything stuck lol.

We have 444 yards with just 21 minutes possession, not bad.

My only complaint is one of the last drives we were gashing them on the edges, then got cute. I do believe it was on the missed fg drive

Presumably, Dabol is going back to the NFL when he finishes his "apprenticeship" at Alabama for another OC job there. He came to UA to build his NFL resume, not with the idea of being a college head coach.

It came out with Kiffin that Saban asks these guys to promise him a minimum 2 year commitment for the coordinator jobs. I would not at all be surprised to have Coach McElwain hired as an analyst with the idea he may be coming back as the OC if Dabol leaves after 2018. Saban clearly loves him and they had a very strong relationship.

Look up the stats on McElwain's offenses. Only Applewhite did worse as Bama's OC under Saban

Didn’t we win a National Title with McElwain as OC?

I'm a helluva lot less concerned about Daboll than I am our OL coach. We put 31 on the board, had a FG hit an upright, and had Hurts throw a one hopper to a wide open guy in the end zone.

Our OL is mediocre in places. That isn't on Daboll

I am not sure a shake up will happen just yet, but the OL will bring back four starters in 2018. The most experience returning since 2012 (I believe). Key is supposed to be more of a teacher, so I will be expecting a lot moving forward.

Actually, it was two.

2009 and 2011 were Mac.

I loved the guy, but I doubt you see him back here as OC. That ship has sailed. With where the game is today, from here forward you are going to see a NFL or spread hybrid type of offense. Eventually, it may swing back but it will be a while.

Daboll adjusted to quick short passes on the 1st drive of the 2nd half. He called a good game for the most part. The 3 play calls before the missed FG were not good, but otherwise that was a well-called drive. The game winning drive was superb.

You can't be serious. Check the stats during his time as coach and you will see that they really weren't even average and he had a heisman winning running back, a grade A OL and the best WR in America in Julio Jones. Not to mention the slew of other elite running backs.

I do miss the pro style offense over this hybrid shite that Saban thinks we have to run in order to keep up Mac is a shitty coach that underachieved during his time here. No thanks.
