YOU can’t come up with many lol you know how many coaches are in college and the NFL? Just because we aren’t thinking of the name doesn’t mean they aren’t

Good point. Maybe it’s Dave Rader

Yeah. Probably but I think Washington will struggle in the Big 10. They aren’t a national brand like Oregon or USC. Big 10 will swallow them competitively.

It’s Freddie Kitchens.

He might turn out to be fantastic. But it would literally be a roll of the dice. Byrne would be putting his legacy in the hands of a guy who has never been a head coach. OC hire would be critical. I just don’t see it

I have a sneaking suspicion that Glen Shumann might be one. It also wouldn’t be that big of a surprise with the success that larger programs have had at hiring assistants.

That would certainly explain the private plane flying back and forth between Tuscaloosa and Athens yesterday.

Outside of Kirby, and maybe Sark….they are all kind of a big question mark.

In today’s world, I’m not sure how often or important face-to-face interviews occur, especially for something that is supposed to be fairly confidential.

Darby up the middle! Right? Am I mixing OCs?

Ohio state hacking all of our zoom calls right now to figure out who we are hiring

The top B10 schools are going to gain advantage in recruiting for adding the west coast teams. Alabama and other SEC teams did when a&m joined. Prior to that LSU had the edge if recruits left the B12 footprint but now other SEC schools have the same. Once B10 games appear in the WC tv markets it will hinder USC and the former PAC12 schools. Also can not wait until those players USC and UCLA are use to recruiting that do not mind a few games each season in the Pacific NW but wait until they start playing in MN or Wisc in November.

Are you sure it’s not Michigan?

At least Jim Leonhard was interim hc.

I hope the dominoes drop fast when the HC is announced. Meaning the rest of the staff. We have a lot of players that waiting to make their decision as well for their future.

I know I’m beating a dead horse but the correct answer is Norvell. Anyone who comes in is going to have immediate success because of what Saban has built. Norvell would likely make the playoffs for 2 years get an extension and then start losing 4-5 games a year.
Being named Mike, he's either gonna kill the program or frick a secretary. Possibly both.

Bring in Ed O for a year and the party start.

If Saban is truly sticking around it's to mentor a current assistant coach. I can't see a big time established coach wanting to work under his thumb.
