I’ll be honest, after watching FGN’s video on the game. I’m almost done with Ryan Williams. He doesn’t give any effort at all. It’s not even up for debate it’s on video. Loafing, getting other people hit, not catching, not doing his job.

So looks like Russaw cant put up any stats at OSU either. Classic case of looks like Tarzan plays like Jane. Meanwhile Pierre replaced him after injury and started making huge plays.

RCW needs to see it. And he better respond. We are all gonna be watching. Usually when I rewatch the game I try to focus on the OL. Not anymore.
It can be hard to see live. Im very thankful for FGN. That dude is awesome. Kinda reminds me of the old ESPN NFL show (cant remember the name) where they would have like Merrill Hodge and Tom Jackson really breaking down film. High quality stuff.

Russaw is going to be a UDFA and Pierre might be one of the first 2 or 3 edge rushers off the board.

I grouped them in with GA..LSU and TX.. i said that AU looked better than Bama yesterday.
Yeah. We aren't having a problem reading your words. What most people are saying is that your opinion is hot-arse garbage. Barn didn't look better than BAMA in any aspect of the game. They are NOT coming into T-town and beating BAMA.
Also, Texas kicked a can. They didn't beat anyone. Texas is going to get beat next week. By double digits.

Yeah I saw Pierre projected in the top half of the first round. His game against ECU made him some more money.
Im surprised Z.Brown isnt higher on boards. Not sure what the advanced metrics show, but my eyeballs see a 1st round pick.

Hell yes. Great show. Then ESPN decided it was better to have clowns yelling at each other and let a whore be the moderator.

Returned from the wildness late last night... had antenna tv but no service.
Anyway, Russell looked ready. Had some jitters early on but he knows where the ball needs to go AND he's actually capable of getting it there. That's something we haven't had since BY.
OL is something I'm still concerned about against better competition
Defense came to play from the whistle unlike last year's opener. Just ECU, I get that, but they were in great positions the whole game, very solid tackling, etc. Just things that have been declining over the years did seem to improve
But jfc guys I can't take the dumb penalties. It absolutely kills me inside. Illegal procedure on a play you've had 8 months to come up with? Good god. The DOGs, the last-second subs like no one has any idea what's going on. How does that even happen these days?
Solid game though

I left feeling good about things. OL looked in sync. Keelon looked young but not overwhelmed and his tools just pop. Defense was suffocating. New DL dominated the point of attack. Linebackers seemed to do everything right. Young running backs are legit.
Not a perfect game by any measure but all the things I was nervous about we seemed competent at. Next weekend will be another step up, so hopefully it continues and we fix some of the things from last weekend.

Hey George;
Good to see you back. Missed your analytical data.

That fact of the matter is that we won't know how for real this team is until next week, maybe. Might not be until UGA. But even then, we've seen 2 convincing wins over UGA in the last two seasons, and we still weren't great going forward. This is an inexperienced team who needs to get better every week. The schedule ramps up pretty fast. Really hard to tell how good or bad UK, Miss St, and Scar are this season, but I don't see any of those games being cakewalks, especially if we don't bring it every single week.
We should beat the shite out of FSU considering how incapable of throwing the ball Daniels is, but who knows. Norvell is fighting for his job, and his team is tired of getting embarrassed. Just going to have to take it game by game. I mainly hope to see our guys bringing it every single week, and treating every game like the most important game. We'll see.

You are ignoring the 11 wins (I’m sure the one in JH is especially galling) and the historic CF playoff win. Also won their way to the SECC game, also the historic 4 game streak over ranked opponents. Thanks for the reminder.

As with most: things are not as good as sunshine pumpers nor as bad as the chicken littles think.

Something I find amusing in all of this is the difference between us and our response to winning - and LSU's response to winning. They act as if Clemson is a championship caliber squad. Yes, they steamrolled a team that went 7-6 last year - they SHOULD HAVE streamrolled them. ECU went 9-4, and we took care of business and only punted twice. They think Kiffin is the second coming... and we consider our coach with a SUPERIOR record Andy Taylor.
