Bro Auburn looked like warm garbage yesterday. If Lagway isn’t injured they probably lose by 14 in what was a defacto home game.
LSU looks good, and idk about Texas, but I like where we’re at with a first year QB and a reworked OL that wasn’t all-SEC, but definitely showed improvement from last season

Okay dumbazz.. how do you think Bama would have done against Baylor ? I could say the same thing.. If it wasn't for Russell, specifically being no 1 in rushing.. the score would have been a lot closer against a much lower tier team than Baylor. And just why was Russell the highest rusher ? Well that's because EC was blowing up more plays than not. They were in our backfield busting our O line the whole game. This is why Russel had to run so much... It was a combination of our receivers not performing and our O line. And if you've read everything I've said you will see I also said TX, LSU, GA and included AU. Do honestly Bama looked as good as those teams ?

Im halfway on board with you.. I'm just combing or can't help but to lump the last three seasons into this one. I think that's rrally fair for any die hard Bama fan

Yeah I just usually enjoy reading and don't have time for writing.. but not anymore. I have a bad feeling about this season. The team really reminds me of the last 3 seasons and Im tired of hearing well they looked better in some areas ! I have not like the fit of Debier and staff since they came in.. I have not been wrong !! The only bright happy spot I saw yesterday was Russell. He really should have been a starter last year

Offense
So sloppy. How hard is it to get the play in?? I'll chalk it up to week 1 chaos.
Bad technique on the Oline. 62 yards on designed runs in the 1st half against ECU. Not ok. Spin a replay of the Crowell touchdown and just watch 70 and 77. It's a horror show of poor pad level and not finishing. I'd give the group a C- minus as I was pleasantly surprised at the pass pro.
12 is as advertised. He's not Simpson in terms of understanding what he's looking at pre-snap but you can tell he has the makeup to get there. As a result the ball came out a touch late a few times. Great example, the hole shot to Meadows in the first quarter. That ball has to be out the instant Meadows is even with the low defender. The extra ball pat made it a more difficult play than it needed to be. Beautiful ball though. Otherwise, he did exactly what I hoped to see. Take what they're giving you, don't force anything and if you don't like it, get out of there.
Crowell might have been the best player on the field. Daniel Hill blitz pickup should be hanging in a museum in France. That whole group will enjoy film this week.
A lot of 2TE, I suspect in an effort to juice the run game, but it keeps Brooks off the field. He's too good in space to not be on the field. His snap count going forward will be something to watch.
Defense
I was skeptical of the new additions on Dline. They answered the mail. 99 and 22 dominated the game and I'm not sure either one recorded a single tackle. I just wanted to see them hold their ground. They actually got push.
While keeping the LBs clean. Didn't see one instance of two crimson jerseys in the same gap. Been a while since we could say that.
4 jumps off the television. He might hit the wrong guy. He might hit one of our guys. But he's not bouncing while blockers come up to the 2nd level. Assignment football with violence. I'll take it.

You’re smoking something if you think Auburn looked good. They could improve but they got a lot of work to do.

How about a great big dose of reality. Pull your head out of the sand and compare this team from what we saw yesterday and the last 3 years of Deboer
Posted on 9/6/26 at 1:13 pm to Diego Ricardo
Well they played a much better team and looked better than what we did.. Baylor beat OSU and KSU last year.. not saying Baylor is a contender.. But ECU dam sure isn't

I think the defense was better - the took one drive off and it cost them. Besides, the defense was stellar. I think the lack of flow on offense was due to inexperience for KR. It will come. Our OLine is a legitimate concern. Our RBs and Receivers are good. I like this team

Hahahaha. Over the QB who got drafted 13th overall? I think we found the dumbass.
We'd have beaten Baylor easily. They suck. They're coming off a losing season, Aranda is on the hot seat, and they brought in a QB who sucked on a shitty Florida team last season.

Thanks for the normal person reply.. I jump on board with your comments.. I'm just not having a good feeling

That's how you know it's a troll. Only an Auburn fan, and a particularly delusional one at that, could have watched them play yesterday and thought it looked good, much less lump their performance in with LSU, UGA, and Texas.

Baylor’s u6.5 wins for the season was juiced to -165 because it was so popular this offseason. They’re gonna suck.

Baylor's best win in 2025 was 9-4 SMU not a 6-6 Kansas State or 1-11 Oklahoma State. However, Baylor was a 5-7 team in 2025.
ECU had a pretty good win over 8-5 Pitt in their bowl game and they beat 7-6 Army and 8-5 Memphis in the regular season.
However that's all last year. This is the NIL era, every year teams like Baylor and ECU can be completely different units.
I agree that ECU is no good this year. I think they stand to be one of the bottom third teams in FBS.
However, I do not think Baylor is likely to be too much better than that this year. Lagway is a turnover machine and cannot consistently execute throws even when he's not throwing or dropping it into the other team's hands.
It is hard to take your analysis on Auburn all that seriously. They played a marginally better squad than ECU and struggled mightily.

nd then watching GA, AU and LSU need to start worrying. All three of those teams would have embarrassed us yesterday.
If your takeaway after that Auburn game was that they are good, you are literally mentally retarded and could qualify for government aid.

I have not said one time that Auburn is a good team.. contender..absolutely nothing like that. I grouped them in with GA..LSU and TX.. i said that AU looked better than Bama yesterday. There's just a feeling about watching any college football game.. that's if you're true die hard college football fan. You can tell if a team has a toughness or has that winning ability in them. I hate Auburn.. but watching them against a higer tiered team compared to Bama playing a mid FBS school.. yes, AU looked tougher to me.. I most definitely hate to say that about Auburn.. Then comparing Bama to LSU, TX and GA.. it was bad.. There are so many fragile hearts on this board that they cant handle the reality in front of their eyes. These are the same people that took us 4 seasons to get rid of Mike Shula and staff.. Yes these kind of people worry me

I will say - their speed snaps are gonna give us fits for a bit. UGH I hate that kind of offense
