Nice!

I will be interested to see what they do at center. Use Dalcourt and have Owens play guard?

This is great! He played very well in the CFP, I thought.

Awesome! In some ways, we now return 3 starters on the OL and we're bringing in the best OL class in the country.

Great news! He made the right decision and he'll have a real chance to get drafted with a solid season.

Opens up a lot of possibilities. This is great for leadership and depth. Owens has shown he can line up anywhere.

Fuuuuuuuck yeah!

This is great for him. He probably will not be drafted. So another year allows him to , not only, have a better chance to make the league. But if he doesn't, the dude will have 2 master's.

Working on the construction industry, I've met several guys, laborers or foremen, who were former NFL players. But they, like most guys who make the league, got injured. Their lives are hard, and so are their jobs. But with 2 master's, is like to think he'll have a comfortable life, with our without the NFL.

"Create Value" is going to be Saban's new "Business Decision".

Both are recruiting tools; one to pull in kids from High School the other to retain young men in the program.

Owens is awesome. He is a well respected vocal leader in the locker room. His presence regardless of where or if he places will be big for the 2021 team.

It's a huge deal to get good, maybe not great, but good players who are very experienced and leaders back the way we have.

I wonder what Forristal is thinking?

Also Randolph could maybe play Right Tackle with 73 moving to left..But 74 and 71 should give Owens some flexibility..But we most likely will see one of the freshmen make a impression...

Wonder if any if OL from the 19 class will start. Quick, Knight, Dalcourt and Bowles all seem like very good OL coming out of high school.

I really felt like Dalcourt was underrated coming out of HS. He was my sleeper signee. Hope he contributes this year

That is what I am thinking. I know the staff thought highly of Dalcourt eventually taking over at center, but he just hasn't been able to do it yet. Now Owens has given us the ability to start Dalcourt at center and Owens at guard, or if Dalcourt still isn't ready, then Owens can man the center spot. We definitely have more flexibility now.

Heck, I thought Owens looked good at RT in the Arkansas game when Neal was out with covid. Lots of options now.

Any place to see stats on the oline guys for free?

I use cfbstats for most stuff, but it doesnt have crap for lineman stats or even who played, etc.
