So after that play the staff probably didn’t like the looks they were seeing from Georgia’s scheme and didn’t want to risk another red zone turnover

That’s not how it works at all. Coaches don’t lose faith in a player over a single throw that could’ve easily been caught and certainly shouldn’t have been an interception. Milroe answered concerns about the short and intermediate game. If you watched that game and still have questions, don’t really know what to tell you. Any good QB evaluator will tell you that the biggest area left for Jalen to develop is mental/pre-snap recognition.
Proctor did not play at 360 last year. He was pushing 400. I would bet on it.
2nd and 26. Other notable moments are Yeldon screen, 4th and 31, rocky block, Kenyan Drake to the house, Matt Caddell vs Arky.

Don’t believe it. I know lots of UGA fans are also Falcons fans so this will be half insult and half praise but, why on earth would he leave riches for poverty?
Off the top of my head, UGA, TCU and OSU have all “lucked out” by getting in without winning their conference.

I’m trying to figure out how Bama is only a 10 point favorite vs AU.

Well don’t try too hard to figure it out because everywhere I’ve seen says 14.5. Not sure where you’re seeing 10

Fun fact: Tennessee is ranked #3 in the NET. In quad 2, they are 4-4. The next team highest ranked team that has 4 quad 2 losses is Seton Hall at 61.

That Chuck 3 last night was halfway down. I wish it would have dropped for him

I saw him working on it pregame before LSU. Told my brother if he sticks around for 2 more years, we might see him start to hit a few. It’s not terrible and would really add a good element to his game.

Painter has been at Purdue for a long time

Plus, he has Purdue lined up for a 1 seed and it’s his alma mater. Not really sure I could see him leaving. Unless he’s bored?

It’s an 8PM tip on a Tuesday against a meh team before classes have started back.

Serious question. When Bear was coach, was he vastly more talented than his opponents also? Seems like it’d be easier to load a roster now days with communication technology

Bear’s teams were infinitely more talented than most of their opponents. He used to recruit guys just so he wouldn’t have to play them. It was the Wild West, there were no rules. Today’s game has more parity
The “Coleman is terrible, get a new arena” take originated with Alabama fans. You can try to use it as a slight, but it’s not something we aren’t already saying.

re: 10 year old son is a crybaby

Ok take the drone for example. Next time the kid cries because it can’t fly straight, put your hand on his shoulder, get on his level and look him in the eye:
“I know it’s frustrating when the drone won’t fly like you intend it to. But you can’t quit and cry when you mess up. Otherwise you’ll never be able to fix your mistake and get better at it. You can do it. I believe in you. Now let’s try it again.”

I don’t understand transferring just to play one more year

He would’ve been a star for a rebuilding LSU team. He’s just another five star at Bama.

Oh well. Wish him the best. Not going to knock a college kid for making the best decision for himself.

I think some guys literally just hate the thought of playing for a new coach they didn’t get to pick. Now that it’s easier than ever to find a new spot, I think we’ll start seeing this a lot more with coaching changes.

Sometimes feels like Shack runs the break with his eyes closed.

If we don’t turn the ball over any more this game, 14 is still too many. We are on pace for more than 30. THIRTY.

re: If Hogs win, they are #1

If Alabama loses to OM and Arky goes into Athens and beats #2, then sure. I don’t think that statement is as controversial as you want it to be.
quote:

I think that is the "Smart play" You start TJ and he struggles then you pull him, then you have pulled 2 Starting QB's in consecutive weeks and then probably lost both of them.

Start Nix, if he stinks it up against LSU like he did vs. GA. State then you do the same thing and pull him and send in Finley. At that point, you have only had to bench 1 guy (twice) and at that point you can decide to make a permanent switch away from Bo to TJ.

This is a shockingly coherent take for this board which is probably why it’s gone unnoticed for the rest of this thread. Upvote.

The fact that his symptoms were so mild this time means that his immune system did exactly what it should’ve done. Antibodies don’t mean you never feel sick. It means your body knows how to fight it off.
