This place is becoming insufferable? I like to come here and talk about sports, and trade the occasional barb, but i don’t know how much more i can take the immature bullshite that has ramped up lately. Not to mention all of the non-sec folks.

Yep. I only troll LSU fans now. You can't talk about anything with them. I've been spending way more time on team boards and other misc. boards than the Rant.
It's surprising, I get more death threats from LSU fans than Auburn fans.

This Bama board is mostly pretty good when AHM21 isn't posting and when Golding's Groupies aren't having a circle jerk thread about what a brilliant GOAT defensive wizard he is and fapping to videos of his busted coverages in 2019. At least the latter can actually be funny to read, sometimes.

I’ve basically stayed off the rant since about mid season. Seems like football talk is at the back burner and trolling is at an all time high.

The SEC Rant should really just change its name to the SEC Troll.
Used to be troll threads were more sparse, but now it's about 95% troll threads.
"Check in if you won a game"
"Is (rival) totally worthless?"
"Has any team lost as many games as (rival)?"
To me, the real turning point of the Rant was Tua's hip injury. He's on his way to being airlifted to a hospital, yet countless tasteless posts were started.
