Pearl and Freeze have been hired I don’t see why Pruitt can’t be.

For starters they didn’t have that many level 1 violations combined. Pruitt just is not going to be touched for an on field position until that is all said and done. Now he might could be an analyst. I’d believe that.

Ole Miss under Huge Freeze had 15 level 1 violations and he is now a head coach in the SEC again a few years later. Tennessee under Pruitt had 18.

There's not much difference in 18 and 15 imo. The NCAA has no teeth anymore. I would not be scared at all to hire Pruitt as a coordinator.

Pruitt or Schumann, that's my list and either would be a grand slam hire.

If Saban thinks Pruitt is the guy, even with the baggage, that's ok with me. Schumann is a guy that's coming back home and can bring our top defenses back as well, it's a win-win. Both are guys that I can see being here longterm.

I favor Leonhard the most, then Schumann, then Pruitt, but all 3 are great options

That DC that just got fired in NE might need a job.

He doesn’t need one at Alabama.

Would love to have Pruitt back. He's an elite DC. And the big bonus is that we wouldn't have to worry about him leaving for another job in a couple of years. He'd be at Bama for a long time.

Georgia fans are big mad about Schumann possibly coming home.

That narrative will quickly shift to him being a glorified errand boy. Just watch.

Georgia fans make me laugh. They really don't get the difference that DC at Georgia is one thing but DC at Alabama is in another class all by itself.

Here's what I want at DC and IDFAF who it is wearing the headset as long as this is the end result.

I want a defense of hunters. ALPHA dogs looking to eat. I want 11 rabid mother frickers playing DISCIPLINED defense trying to tear your fricking head off flocking to the ball. 11 A'shawn Robinsons, Reggie Raglands, Ro McClains.

I'm so fricking sick of getting teams in 3rd and forever only to give up big plays to receivers that are wide fricking open. I'm ready to scream at a wormy arse ILB getting dragged 5 yds downfield after contact giving up a first down.

I don't give a flying tree rat's arse if it's Mary fricking Poppins calling the defensive calls as long as Alabama gets their killer instinct back and plays like the hunter instead of the hunted.

I'd love to have Pruitt back in some capacity. He's a monster recruiter and play caller. What he did although stupid is now perfectly legal. Smack him on the hand, don't let him recruit off campus for two years and let the man do work. Hugh Feeze was hiring whores for teenagers for fricks sake.

DC at Georgia is a great position for launching a coaching career now, just like Alabama's.

The difference is he's a Co-DC at Georgia and that is not quite the same credential as being the full DC at Alabama.

That's what dawgs fail to understand.

Plus we can double his salary his making 800 or 900k because they gave half of Lannings salary to Boom.

Why hire the USM guy if Schumann is the choice? Aren’t they both ILB?

And that, I don't think, would be good enough. Pruitt is a great, great game-day defensive coach. Calling in-game, ideal blitzes at the perfect time is what I remember most about him.

it was so easy to get 3-4 yds on this defense

Our vaunted defenses .. it was mostly 0-2 yds

Listen to the commentator after the Tim Williams sack vs 10RC: "3rd and 13, 4th and a mile."

Marlon is such an underrated DB from the Saban era.
