SP also had our post game win percentage at 13.5 vs UGA which I disagree with now could we have score more and UGA scores more sure but 13.5 is crazy low and an almost all-time SP upset which that game was not. I think we are breaking the model somewhat because of the bad run game, no massive offensive explosives and giving up way too many explosive on Defense.

I think it was Nick Kelly but one beat writer did some research and with Penix, Haener and Milroe who all 3 are NFL drafted QBs Deboer did not name a starter until two weeks before kickoff I think he's just a competition for competition sake coach.
Grubb has said since post spring as bout as clearly as he can without stepping on Deboers toes that Simpson is the starter. He even said on practice 2 he wanted the competition to be over.

You could but it's kind of a waiste of spring practice if all the new players you need aren't there and all the guys who are going to leave anyway are getting reps. Now you could move spring practice to summer or add additional practice. It used to be schools didn't want to pay for all their kids to go to summer school but those days are long gone.
It's because the kids still go to school so new players need to enroll and universities have hard cutoff dates when you can enroll for the spring semester.
For Alabama for example Jan 15 is the last day for add drop for the full spring semester but every school is different.

SEC- Kyle Olson (Sun Belt Referee) and Scott Walker (SEC CJ) worked with SEC crews. Alex Moore is now in the NFL and Marc Curles appears to have been demoted to CJ as he worked 2 games with Steve Marlowe

Looks like Olsen was doing sun belt games just a couple years ago. Did Georgia UK and OK St South Alabama this year. Last I can see for us was the ULM game last year.
Also we had a good game plan in the natty on Bowers after going for 100 he went for 4 catches for 30 yards. I never felt like Pete covered tight ends well but he did that day. We also have done a great job under steele preventing big TE games.
I can see it. I can see us getting rolled too. This game like a lot of games we have played this year has way more outcome possibilities than we are use to.
Keys to me are get to beck when we needed it we have been able to do it this year especially in the second half. Go back and thi k about how many games we ended by pressuring the qb LSU, Tenn Auburn all come to mind probably more.
Have to stop the run on defense.
Hold them to field goals that was how UGA won the natty we kicked 5 fgs and threw a pick. We have been good including the iron bowl about not giving up the td and forcing them to earn it. We give up a td and not a field goal when they went up 24 we probably lose.
Give milroe time on offense losing Jace hurts here.

How this crew isn't just calling vandy games only is nuts.
Even the fight at the end the head ref I think gets rolled over how a ref gets hit in a fight and doesn't throw a flag is crazy.

One let's just beat Georgia if we get left out they do to and to play the villain as Booker said and deny their 3 peat will atleast be fun.
Two this team plays with an edge when disrespected if they feel like they still are going into that game it will help a lot.

Kind of weird how post game all he talked about was his jersey being clean. All I could think about was well you won't be in a couple of weeks dude is thin too. He gets popped a couple of times it's going to hurt.

They also worked on the snap hold early in the game during one of the timeouts on the field. Not sure if that was wrong or what.

His kicks were rough vs Tenn too but he made em. I thought the bye would rest his leg but they still looked weak. I hope he gets it right.

Like you noted if they can score 20pts in the first half like they have done against all teams in the LSU range this might be ballgame. LSU also has 500 yrds in every game besides FSU when they had 450ish. I'm gonna be watching that number as well for the D.
