It won't matter. Pruitt getting hit by a bus or taking a HC job at a smaller school are the only two things that can help us.

No at the very least he shouldn't have jumped from one job to another and went to recruiting the exact same guys in that first cycle like Walker.

Lol do you even think before you post? Why would he not target top guys that he has great relationships with to bring with him? You can't fault him for that.

I only quoted part of this post but the entire thing is pretty hilarious. I'm going to have to start looking for more of your posts. They're classic. Terrible, but classic.

WRT Pruitt, it is my understanding that uncommitted prospects that a coach had been recruiting at his previous job are fair game but it's considered poor form to poach a prospect who is committed. That's what he did with Walker and I think most in the profession would look down upon that.

The fact that Pruitt was very likely recruiting him to FSU long before he left our staff is what really bothered me about it. And then he compounded that display of a lack of professionalism by taking shots in the media even though he's probably making a fraction of his current salary at a HS in Alabama right now if not for Saban. I see no reason why any Alabama fan should have a single positive word to say about him.

Have no clue what the profession considers "fair" but that looks right to me as an outsider.

If it turns out we don't get Humphrey, do we look for another CB or the best player available?

Don't let him know about Arizona State.

ETA: That took entirely too long to find an article that didn't have blatantly NSFW material in it.

Marlon may end up going elsewhere but Bobby has something firmly stuck in his mind when it comes to his kids and that's the trouble Maudrecus got into when he moved away from home to attend Arkansas.

For some reason I think that experience will stick with Bobby.

Marlon to UA.
