Best two dogs I’ve had were a golden retriever and a golden doodle. I think golden retrievers are probably better bets but the doodles don’t shed.

I work with a lot of small town lawyers. Most are from the town or at least have deep connections to the area.
It definitely can be a great position to be in but as an outsider I wouldn’t necessarily describe it as low hanging fruit.

The police are saying the shooter is too dangerous to arrest.
I didn’t know that was an option.

It sounds like Jeff lived a great life and had a wonderful father.
My sincerest condolences.

This. I don’t know the young lady but it sounds like she’s smart enough (has a good job) but y’all don’t easily jive on a deep level and she has difficulty with your sense of humor.
Grass is always going to be greener. Does she treat you well? Would she be a good mom/partner?
Having said all that, in my experience marriage doesn’t make your wife think you’re funnier.

Excellent ending.

This was my immediate guess only because I seem to recall the singer Usher getting sued for this one.
Here’s a story on it with a magnificent headline: Singer Usher Finally Done With Last Herpes Lawsuit, Wraps It Up
re: Anyone got a long hair dog and groom them yourself?
Posted by Garfield on 10/5/23 at 10:19 pm
I’ve cut our doodles for years. Our groomer got cancer and kicked out one of our dogs for being too difficult to groom. It’s a pain but not impossible if you set aside half a day and have low expectations.
I purchased a mid-grade andis. Similar to this: LINK
Highly recommend as the metal ones get hot really fast.
Also recommend buying at least two blades so you can switch them out as they overheat (so you don’t burn the dog). Cooling spray is also very highly recommended.
I use #10 (and sometimes #5) blades which is a buzz cut. I do this because I only want to have to cut them three times a year and they cut through the undercoat/mats fairly easily. However, our dog has free access (dog door) to our unfinished basement (#10 probably too short for a purely outside dog during winter).

He obviously wasn’t prepared for this moment/situation and handled it poorly. However, I do want to give him credit for possibly seeking to protect his girlfriend (hard to tell from the video but I want to give him the benefit of the doubt).

Thanks for the rec. Made it through Youngstown and Memphis. Interesting but definitely sad. I got no answers. The lack of nuclear families is clear (and a huge problem) but don’t know if that’s a chicken or egg issue.

Even if Saban would have released a depth chart it would have contained so many positions with an “Or” that it would have been worthless. Qb would have had 4 co-starters.
I appreciate that he’s at least pretty upfront about his biases.

My counselor called this from the very beginning.
Sounds like you got gaslighted.
J/k. Sorry about everything you went thru but it sounds like you have your priorities in check.
FWIW, with a moderately stable woman the term may be helpful if used by saying something like: “I don’t think you’re intentionally trying to gaslight me, but when you say/do “X” it makes me feel that way because it’s not supported by our actual experiences.”

I know the odds are greatly against it, but I’m starting to think we may play two QBs for most of the season (not necessarily in a negative way).
