Hope we don't end up missing out on some of the more talented top contenders in this class by taking more offensive line commits (other than Cameron Robinson if we get him). We only have 10 spots left to fill.

We've decided to take the Michigan approach and sign 15 OL.

Definitely think OL needs a really good class after missing on several of our top targets the past couple years.

hadnt seen this here yet regarding Jordan Sims

quote:

Jordan Sims, three-star guard Homewood High School in Ala., lost 20-pounds in the past two months. He knew he had one opportunity to prove himself to the Alabama coaching staff. He did just that on Sunday afternoon. "The camp was amazing," said Sims "I have been working out with Coach [Jack] Eyer the past few months. I dominated everyone today. I lost 20-pounds. I was 347-pounds today. I am trying to get down to 330." "The coaches were really impressed. Coach Cristobal talked about how quick I was to be so big. I didn't have one negative comment. Coach Cristobal was stunned. He said it was special what I did today. He was really excited about my performance. "Coach Saban said he was really impressed with what he saw. He said he noticed my weight loss. He said he will talk to the other coaches about me. He said they will call me in a few days." Sims was ecstatic about his performance on Sunday. He has been working hard the past few months to return as one of the top players in the state. "I was thrilled," he said. "I still don't know what to think. It all happened so quick. I am going to sit back and wait now. I thought I did really good. Daron Payne was really impressed. I went up against him four times. I didn't lose once. He is a great player." "The camp was really intense. I don't think there was one part of the camp where I relaxed. It was intense even during the warm ups. You have fun while doing it." Alabama has been at the top of Sims list from the start of his recruitment. The Crimson Tide remains the team to beat as he awaits the call from the coaching staff. "Everything stands out about them," Sims said. "The question is what doesn't stand out. I get a certain feeling when I am down there. My parents love it. I love it. I like intensity. I like coaches. I like the way they run things It's a great place."

TS I LOVED it

Great acting despite over the top CG, but the CG wasn't unbelievable and clunky. Great story as well

I hope they let him commit officially, even though telling him he will probably grayshirt like Bozeman, but he gets his moment and no one knows until Feb.

In my opinion a scholarship given to another top OL is better than a long snapper or backup QB.

He's sucking it up so far today per reports, so it may be more "wanting" him or not.
