I'd rather have Hand. Carter has more upside IMO, but we have more quality passrushers at OLB than DL. Lack of pressure from the down linemen has been the only consistent weak point in our defenses under Saban. Outside of Dareus we really haven't had any standouts.

Would love just to have someone that we can throe blitz combos off of. We don't use nearly as many different blitz combos as we did in 09-11

Not many predictions listed for him in the crystal ball, but it's 53/47 I think to OM last time I looked. The most recent prediction was early june I think and it was to Bama.

Bama seems to have too many irons in the fire at the position to go for a specific one now. And the aforementioned lack of connection would make me assume Ole Miss.

Alabama used to get who they wanted from the state of Mississippi, but even when both programs over there are mediocre at best, Alabama can't get a foot hold anymore.
