He seems to have been a target for a while and visited Bama A LOT more times than anywhere else, especially coming to Bama's OL/DL camp 3 yrs, but he is also been a priority for OM and is an in-state kid for them

I honestly don't think Mississippi has been a priority under CNS. We typically only really go after 1 or 2 from that state each year.

MS kids have always been tough to pull, but as a whole they have been underachievers & they are typically academic concerns. Alabama, Georgia, Florida, LA & the rest of the U.S as far as our recruiting goes

It is getting bad over there. The occasional ribbing is one thing, but every damn thread is a thinly veiled flame thread. Most all of those started by UT fans.

Sarc nailed it. MS high school football is the weakest in the southeast. It's hot garbage due to bad coaching and funding. Hence, Miss st and Ole Miss being ungood

I wouldn't count on it, extensively, for skill talent. And God only knows the last great QB it produced, but there are great linemen to be found in Mississippi.

Occasionally. But you wouldn't know it from highschool. They're usually the under the radar guys. Derek Sherrod. No one was going to think he was a future 1st round pick out of Caledonia.
