quote:I don't think the NCAA is crazy enough to grant Luis eligibility after the Bediako situation.
If LSU somehow gets all these players pushed through, they will be a monster. Don’t see anyway Luis is eligible though
What will happen, however, is that a friendly Louisiana judge will ultimately issue an injunction against the NCAA allowing him to play the full season.
Having the governor and court system in your pocket is a trump card when it comes to NCAA eligibility.

The thing that pisses me off the most is the judge who denied Bediako was sitting there staring at precedent that had been set by other former pros returning to college and still sided with the ncaa. I'm not saying the guy had to like doing it, but from a legal standpoint the ncaa had already allowed a certain level of ridiculousness that Bediako fell into that category of eligibility.

If LSU can find a judge to push it through, they are going to start RJ Luis and four 22-23 year old Euro league players.

... and when the NCAA decides to slam a program again they'll be looking at Wade and Kiffin.
SEC commish could do some things too if he wasn't a candyass.

Are they good Euro league guys though? There's a pretty big spread over there and signing a 23 year old who was the 3rd best player from an average team in Serbia's version of the MAC just means you signed a very experienced, but probably not very high impact player.

it seemed to me the judge was against bediako, or oats/bama, from the moment he got the case. the verdict showed he didnt care about precedent. at least thats my opinion from underwater

wasnt he an auburn grad?

the ncaa needs to put an end to these foreign 24 year old professionals getting scholarships. Maybe Trump will stop it.

Same judge that denied Miles bail.

Has Miles been sentenced? Out on bail? Or still in jail awaiting judgement?

Reclass is the goal with Diaz. Really good player. Him, Biz, and Amari would be a pretty strong G trio

Per our roster Mallette is 6'5".

DeBoer and Oats are almost identical in height, with DB just a tad taller. So, no, Oats isn’t near 6’4”. It’s strange I had thought Oats was a little taller myself - like 6’3” or so. Not sure where it came from.

I met Houston in person. He’s slightly taller than me I’m 6’2”
