Alabama has signed a home-and-home series with Seton Hall, Yea Alabama has learned. The Crimson Tide will host the Pirates Nov. 13 in Coleman Coliseum with a return trip to New Jersey in 2027. Seton Hall went 21-12 last season while Alabama advanced to its fourth consecutive Sweet 16 appearance in the NCAA Tournament. The Pirates are coached by Shaheen Holloway.

I think Alabama is trying to get 2027 recruit, Chris Lumpkin, to reclassify for 2026. That'll give us our extra guard.

We haven’t had a ton of production out of these…he’d probably be better off getting another year of seasoning but maybe 5 in 5 change makes that moot.

Primo was good. I think Clowney was a reclass guy. Stevenson was a contributor.

I like our incoming class a lot, and I get that it's much more cost efficient to get freshmen who can contribute vs. hitting the portal, but every day it looks more and more like we'll be playing mostly 18-19 year olds against a bunch of 22-26 year olds, many who've been playing pro ball a while.

He’s looking for a team to promise they’ll take him in the 1st. Anywhere from 22-30 is dicey because you don’t know who is going to slip that you might like or if you get a great trade up/trade back opportunity. Teams are usually reluctant to make promises late in the 1st.

I swear if we're the only school not allowed to do this Byrne and Oats better start making comments in every conference call. Not fair that we have to play by a different set of rules.
