The drop coverage has Cliff confused. It works sometimes but drop coverage can put your center in bad situations sometimes. We’ve unfortunately went against guards who have been able to make the uncontested 15-20 foot jumpers our defensive scheme allows. On offense our guards are giving him the ball...

It’s a good consolation prize having Mallette for Wrightsell. I feel Mallette has better length and is a bit lesser of a shooter but it may help defensively. We will definitely miss Wrightsell though....

You’re correct in everything you said. Sears is killing our pace and launching threes early in the shot clock and missing. It was evident from the second game he was holding our offense back. He’s still a heck of a player but point guard he’s not....

Sears is becoming hard to watch. He and coach both need to realize he’s not a point guard. The unforced turnovers are not ok for a fifth year senior. He needs to be moved off ball....

No I don’t think we have a coaching issue. I do feel like we were outcoached tonight. It’s one game and it’s not an indictment on the season but Sears is becoming a liability and it’s nothing wrong with pointing that out....

We have to be serious and ask ourselves does Sears give us the best chance to win at point guard and I say no. He has no plan when driving to the hoop....

Screw the goal tend. We should’ve been up by way more. Grant Nelson has turned the ball over in crunch time this whole tournament. Sears should be taking heat checks in crunch time. Oats has to be more strict on shot selection sometimes. Sears takes shots that even Kobe and Jordan wouldn’t attempt a...

Oats is an idiot allowing Sears to shoot us out. Maybe I shouldn’t say that because it will some people mad but it’s true. Oregon beat us because they were coached better and took better shots....
