This is why Kirby looks like the second coming of Les Miles to me.

Is it just me or is there waaaaayyy too much talk about Kirby Smart here? Yes, he got Washington, Evans and will get Ringo, which means that Georgia will sign the no. 1 class this year (and the way he will have done that won't have been kosher), but it is about finding the RIGHT recruits (not the highest rated ones) and how you coach them up. And that is where we can win.

I see Rakim Jarrett took exception to LSU pulling Demon Clowney's scholarship offer. LSU has never pulled a big time recruit from the DMV and you go up there, offering kids, pulling offers, and expect to sign a 5 star from there?

Are we looking at Clowney?

Yeah QB taint is hard to come by...

I doubt it. We didn't offer or recruit him in the past and really don't need to take a 5th OLB.

Five-star DL LINK ]Tunmise Adeleye, the No. 26 overall player in the 2021 class per the 247Sports Composite Rankings released his "final 6" (via Twitter)on Christmas Eve. Making the cut in no particular order are: Alabama, Florida, LSU, Ohio State, Oklahoma, and Texas A&M. The Katy (TX) Tompkins product announced on Monday that a decision will be made on Aug 1, 2020.
It's the Tide that led for Adeleye back in the summer following an unofficial visit to Tuscaloosa. “At the very top,” Adeleye said of Bama in June. “Alabama’s been at the top for a while, but after the visit yesterday I don’t see them going anywhere for the foreseeable future. They solidified themselves at the top.”
A few months later, Adeleye said the Buckeyes and Tide were tied in the one-spot for him, reaffirming that stance after a return visit to the Capstone for the LSU game. “Alabama is a place where they have an atmosphere of excellence. Everything there, everybody there wants to be excellent,” Adeleye said of UA.
“From the nutritionist, to the academic staff, to Coach (Nick) Saban, the coaches, the players, everyone there embodies excellence. From the classroom, to the weightlifting program, to the field, everyone wants to be excellent. I want to be at a place where people embody that and they want not just the football player to succeed, but the person and the man to succeed.”

At 6-foot-3, 260 pounds, Adeleye is rated the No. 3 strong-side defensive end and No. 26 overall player. Here is 247Sports' evaluation of the Texas talent:
Stout defensive lineman who could potentially provide position flexibility. Thick core and thin-ankled. Possesses adequate to above average height and solid build. Owns virtually college-ready size as a four-man end, but could slide inside with added bulk. Flashes impressive strength at the point of attack. A bull in the phone booth who can drive offensive linemen into the pocket. Consistently gets hands inside blockers to steer where he wants. Shows power to punch and shed in the run game. Plays with good pad level and leverage. Strong tackler. Active, violent hands, but still learning how to use them. Can be more consistent in get-off quickness. Can also improve body control, particularly in pursuit. Potentially position- and scheme-versatile defensive lineman who could fit multiple roles and fronts. Legitimate high-major recruit with long-term potential to reach top half of the NFL draft.
2021 5* DE Tunmise Adeleye 6-3/260 TX hudl

Sounds like Courtney Upshaw.

The more I watch film the more excited I am to see Tim Smith next to Barmore in the future. Will be an incredibly disruptive front

Yeah, except Upshaw came out of HS at 220lbs, not 260.

I'd like to commend TidalSurge.
When I have a question, before I post I usually find the answer in the first few posts and don't have to bother asking.
Really have done yeoman's work going back 2 classes and all the rules. Can't imagine how long that took.

I kinda look a shane lee as a courtney upshaw role. Add 5 10 lbs not take them off

Lolno. The reason Kirby wanted it kept quiet, is so, that if Young flipped, he could claim recruiting superiority over "senile old Saban".

The different reasons you and I mentioned are not mutually exclusive. Both seem valid, imo.

Thanks, bro.
The 1st page posts have been developed and maintained over the last three years or so. For example, pretty soon I'll create the Projected 2020 Roster that I'll transform into the actual. Also, I won't create a new thread each year. In Feb (after NSD) the 2nd and 3rd posts will just trade places and I'll change some 1st-post links from 2020 to 2021, so we can just keep rolling. Besides keeping stuff up-to-date, I also tinker with enhancements -- so ideas are welcome. Also, y'all alert me to any bad links you find.

Why haven't you projected the last 5-6 spots?
You owe us that much.
You slacking.

I think Baker and Burroughs can get their class work done and I think we can land Frazier, but I don't feel confident about landing Henderson, Jackson or Collins. Jayson Jones?
A'ight, that's my (too early) projection. So now you owe us yours and you slacking.
