According to Brent Schrotenboer of USA Today, former NFL MVP Adrian Peterson is facing some legal problems in Texas after he failed to appear in court for two child support cases. Two warrants have been issued for his arrest. Peterson is also facing property seizures since he's trying to pay off over $12 million in debt...
quote:

“The current legal case is related to a misunderstanding regarding Adrian’s court appearances as it relates to child support, and he is actively working with his legal team to resolve this matter as quickly as possible,” Peterson's publicist told Schrotenboer.

Remember that time we were suppose to feel sorry for AP when his kid whom he never met was beaten to death? AP is a POS

Three issues plague many pro athletes. Gambling, clubbing, and stacking up multiple baby mamas.

Well, he may be a terrible father but he is one of the best RBs I’ve ever seen and in todays society RBs are way more important than fathers, amirite?

Can’t pay child support but can pay a publicist?

His publicist salary is probably way less than his child support

Yes, but he goes by AD, not AP. All Day is his nickname.

What he "goes by" is not my primary concern.

Child support based on income is the real problem. No one needs $30,000 a month to raise a kid.

Don’t do the mama if you can’t pay for the 18 yr result

It's a 2 person thing...but child support is also RIDICULOUS, it should be a flat rate, not going off what the parent made as being a professional athlete. Child support is to help raise the kid, not supply the other parent with a lavish lifestyle

Between taxes and agent, he didn’t even see half of that money. 50 million is still a lot but not when you’re chasing skirts and then get a few gold digging baby mamas.
