I'm 5'"8 which tends on the shorter side of the American average of 5'9"

But I have this sense to know what tall or short are the average is and I can make an honest comparison of my height to that and say I'm not tall but nor what I call myself short but I could be called shorter than average


A lot of people on this board call themselves conservative and have no idea what conservative or conservatism is
not by definition
nor by history
nor by generally accepted qualifications

and its not up to me there are 1000s of years of history that establish the parameters
