His contract runs through 2031. I don’t know if he makes it to that, but doubt he’s retiring now.

Shores was not throwing bad pitches. Arky was getting some tough hits. I didn’t love the Mayers first pitch, but he was in a tough situation. He shut it down after that.

They’re a young team with a lot of guys returning I think. I think that’s why they are not as emotional about the situation.

Once you make it to Omaha you never know what’s going to happen. Old Miss was the last team in the field 3 years ago but got hot and won it all.

This is what we did when my wife needed a new car. We had 2 or 3 trade in offers that were ridiculous and then looked at carmax. I didn’t realize how bad the dealerships were on trades now.

There’s less a chance of Shores coming back than Bear. The guy can hit 102 mph. I know some people may think it’s important to prove he can be a starter, but the mob doesn’t care.

The good news is he will see some pitchers not on the Root/Gaeckle level over the next week. He just needs to back off the power and focus on putting it in play.

What would happen if 5-10 players refused to play in the rainbow hats? Would the Dodgers organization fine them or suspend their own players. I’d love to see someone test this.
