He's going to drop to the mid-late 1st. Faulk is the one I most expect us to be looking at

Exactly. You take the DL BPA. If there's a run on DL, then you take the next BPA. If that is a S or RB, then so be it. But you do not pass up a top DL if he is in the same rating category as Downs, Love or someone else.

As far as the OP's "simulations" go, I have no idea what he is talking about . If we are at 8, there is a very high probability one of the top DL will be there.

Olave is a good player with a few holes in his game

Yes, but the holes are due to him playing scared since his first injury. He is an all-world talent that loses focus too often.

He is starting to show more confidence in himself, and if he regains his fire and confidence then he can be a truly great #1WR for us. I've been his biggest critic on here the last couple of years, but I absolutely want him to become great. He's a truly decent human being, and he is the type of person and player that all of us should want to succeed.
For a guy that made one horrible mistake after another the first half of this season, he has absolutely turned it around the last few games and has been on fire. I'm all in on JJ!

Would you trade Shough for the number 1 overall pick in 2026 draft?

The entire point of trading for the #1 pick IS to get your franchise QB.

Why would you ever even consider trading your rookie franchise QB that you now have for the opportunity to draft an unknown one that may or may not be a franchise player and probably won't be as good as your current one appears to be?

This OP is absolutely retarded

One game doesn't decide who wins a "season long" NFL award

Wait, Shough only played one game? Where have you been the last several weeks, you ignorant choad?
quote:

Where are those "starters" now?

Irrelevant to the point. My point is that Shough is doing a heck of a lot more with less, but the dude I replied to is trying to say he's only doing it against bad teams. Well we were also playing bad teams when we were losing with better players.

quote:

At least the guys playing now are hungry to perform minus ridiculous contracts.

They are looking good, and they are lesser players. What does that tell us? That Shough is making unknown WRs look good. THAT is what great QBs do. Just wait until we give him better talent at WR, protect him with better interior OL and give consistent help from the RB spot.

This was THE defensive play of the year. Truly incredible
quote:

He’s been playing well but for perspective he’s only won against the jets, titans, panthers, and bucs. With the falcons next week too, its a collection of some of the worst teams in the NFL

How many did we win the first half of the season while also playing a collection of some of the worst teams in the league while also having a healthy roster of starters?
There was some truth to this, but it appears to have worked out in our favor. We landed Moore who is doing an incredible job. Sometimes bad perception benefits you in the end
quote:

Too many variables. Today: Shough>Nix. Payton>>>>Moore. Broncos>>>>>>>saints.

Yeah this is accurate. It’s wayyyyy too soon to be comparing these coach/qb combos. Also it’s a bit silly.

Thank you Payton for our incredible run with Brees. Now I’m looking forward to our potential incredible run with Moore/Shough. Congrats to Payton for an incredible season this year, and I’m looking forward to ours in the future.

Can’t we just go with that?
2011: ESPN got exposed for having and hiding tapes of Bernie Fine from
Syracuse admitting to sexually assaulting young boys. They had those tapes since 2003. I have not given them sick bastards a dime since, and I never will.
The problem with the dome is that the seats move further away from the field the higher you go up. That’s where the new stadiums have the advantage. The seats go up but are designed to still be close to the field. If they could rebuild the dome seating to match that then we would be good. I don’t think that is at all possible though. Would require serious renovations

This is in contention for best RP movie. It’s incredibly funny

Nolan, hands down.

I love Nolan. He's one of my all time favorite directors, and most definitely my favorite of the last 30 years. With that said, Kubrick is better. Kubrick is probably the second greatest of all time behind Orson Welles.

Welles, Kubrick, Hitchcock, Nolan

quote:

Kubrick is insanely overrated.

um, no. this is an incredibly stupid take
This is gearing up to be a huge RB draft. If so we should find our next primary runner in rounds 2-4.

I agree. We need to beef up the G and C spots, and we have to find a bellcow as well. Shifty RBs are great to have, but we need a hoss.

Someone like LJ Martin from BYU would be a massive get if it can happen. He will dominate in this league. We need size and strong running like him

quote:

so if we win out, we will end up 10-15 range

And I am fine with this. I want a winning team, and winning out sets that confidence and culture up for just that
quote:

1. Never ever ever trade up in draft
2. Take BPA who has great character
3. Don't mortgage the future, especially if you dont have a top five qb

All of this, but 2 can't be emphasized enough
