The fact that people are making Rachel Nichols out to be a villain here is laughable!!!! Promoting minorities (females and/or people of color) has been happening for decades, back when I was in high school they did it with teachers, and it was not a secret, it was publicized. And for god's sake they cover the NFL, you know the same league that has the Rooney Rule, has minority coaching pipeline, and offers teams draft picks for hiring minority GMs & Head Coaches. To act as though what she said is racist or blasphemy is fricking ridiculous

It's hilarious that she of all people complained. That duo has been responsible for two A+ sports talk guys in Chicago being fired. One for criticizing wardrobe and the other for sstating that the other got her job the same way Ka-Ma-La rose to hers.

Unfortunately in this woke environment where some do hire based on race, there will always be people who believe any black person got to where they are because of their race. These companies that have dived into politics will soon see they are on a slippery slope. It is a shame for Maria Taylor that so many will think she has her position because of race. I watch SEC Network and never watch the NBA but I think Taylor does a good job in the segments she does for the SEC Network.

Maria should have the job regardless of skin color because she is simply more talented. With that said I highly suspect ESPN picked Maria because of skin color because the management is racist, so Rachel is correct in this regard. This is the environment the racists woke management created at ESPN. If that racist woke environment did not exist at ESPN Rachel would have never expressed those feelings that were born out of that toxic workplace.

Maria refused to work with Rachel. You Do Not tell Disney, and it's subsidiaries, what you will, and will not do when they are paying you. It is very important to Disney that all of their employees understand that the company is in charge. Maria's contract is almost up. She will be replaced by someone who is prettier, and does what they are told to.
