You should add location with the planned planting date . We are in Wilkinson County MS and the motto for planting anything is "plant late and harvest early"
We always go for mid October….but end up planting the first week of November due to lack of rain.

Allegedly it's just for safety—walking through the woods in pitch black so you don't step on Bob White and have a heart attack.

I’m dealer in LA/MS for Jager Pro since I retired from
career in 2017 and have been catching pigs for a long damn time. Over 1300 on my place since I bought my first Jager Pro trap in 2012 and they’re still filing in as fast as I catch them. Hate them sobs with a passion.
This is the way......we do the same thing with the HogEye camera system...Trapped 350 in the last 3 years. We usually wipe them out before deer season then they return in Feburary
