Bowls are no longer fun. Small crowd. Too many players opt-out. Bad TV time. No impact on polls. The best team doesn't win.

I go just to make like a 4 or 5 day trip out of it.

They need to turn bowl season into like a “preseason” thing. Don’t let the games count, let backups play. Etc…

Excepting the playoffs, that's a good idea.

It would be worth this terrible season if we could win against Bama and knock them out of the playoffs.

Bama can afford another loss. A 10-2 team that played that schedule would be pretty much an automatic.

Completely disagree, this season will be disappointing either way, and Bama is still in the playoff anyway.

Who cares, LSU will not have team left. Opt outs and transfers.

Can we just have the practices and decline the invite?

Young players get to play and practice. It will be extremely important for the next coach to play the bowl game. I get it’s not the bowl we all want, but another LSU game I’ll watch.

CFP killed bowls. might as well call it a scrimmage.

Not really. The bowls killed bowls. Remembering when we had Rose, Sugar, Cotton, Orange and the lowest was Gator. That was it. Never leave a dollar on the table that the networks and NCAA brass can collect even though it damages the game.

Why go back to Nashville just to go to the place where Pavia wrecked that arse? Depressing.

Bowl games are a waste of time and the and the crowd is so small….why have them anymore….i would expand the playoffs to 24 teams and play the early games on campus

Most teams that fire coach mid-season don’t end up in a bowl. We are lucky that BK won as much as he did early.
