Hell, it was a shithole 35 years ago when I lived popcorn ceiling texture on the walls and shag carpets on the floors. Honestly, I would like to go inside of one to check out whst they look like now!
My last company had them installed on company vehicles and a lot of discipline was issued because of minor infractions. I think plaintiffs attorneys probably could do the same thing. As a result, I will not be getting one,

Frankly, cashier jobs are going away through technology in the near future, so no one in this country should count on that as a living.

I lived there 35 years ago…could have been me.

Overrated and vastly overpriced
I agree thst they are overpriced, but anyone who says that yeti products are not high quality is just full of shite. This thread is asking for items that are overpriced, but very high quality and Yeti products qualify.

You may get lucky and be in some shade, but most won’t. At 80 degrees and noonday sun, it won’t be sweltering, but it will be plenty uncomfortable for most of us.

Do you really believe the right coach reads Yahoo Sports?
You better believe they do…we all read it and they do as well. They read this board, too.

If LSU won't pay, someone else will, and coaches will sign there. Just because you agree that coaches shouldn't be paid how they are doesn't mean it wasn't stupid for the governor of Louisiana to say that in public.
And him not doing his job well is not a claim to fire someone for cause.
Agree 100%….
re: Nick Saban claiming he’s done with coaching but let’s remember what the man has said….

I don’t think Saban would do particularly well with the Louisiana governor’s meddling in the program currently.
Now that these guys are professionals, hopefully that will quash the practice of opting out somewhat.
re: How many of you baws grew up in Louisiana but moved elsewhere?

Grew up in Louisiana and subsequently bounced around the country for a 30-year engineering career. Retired several months ago and am seriously considering moving back. For all of its faults, Louisiana will always be my home.

Further question….why would the zipper or buttons need to be in front?
Since pennies will no longer be made, is the “idea” of a penny going away as well?
In other words, is everything in commerce going to be rounded up or down to the nearest 5 cents?
Sales taxes are most often in increments of 1 cent. They are not going to cancel sales tax….is the minimum sales tax going up to 5 cents?

States are wasting money, but nowhere near trillions.
Actually, Louisiana was awarded $3.55 Billion in 2023. Not sure how much they actually spent, though. Mississippi was awarded nearly that much as well.
The first news story I remember was the first moon landing. I distinctly remember Niel Armstrong’s first moonwalk.
re: JFK assassinated. How many remember the when/where/how they heard it?

That was a couple of years before my time!

re: Do you still use a road atlas?
Posted by Spankum on 11/10/25 at 1:34 pm to SaintlyTiger88
I haven’t used a road atlas in many years. However, I still keep one in my truck for emergencies. Sometimes, GPS just goes to shite for no reason, and I wouldn’t want to depend on it in an emergency.
That reminds me….I should probably try to find an updated version.

change all of the hoses on my under sink system every 3 years. Hopefully that minimizes my chances, also it has the shutoff valve that if it detects a leak it cuts water to the system.
That’s a good precaution however, all of mine leaked on the body of the filter housing. Two of them were PVC and one of them was some type of clear plastic. All were very thick/heavy and all formed hairline cracks around where the inlet and outlet hoses connected to the housing.
