Thoth Captain Penny Larsen told riders that NOPD found no evidence of criminal wrongdoing, no officer witnessed the alleged incident and no action would be taken against the float.
Ok, the the NOPD screwed up. They should cover all the expenses of every member on that float for this year.

hey're just eliminating the people who would probably spend the most money in their establishment... Doesn't sound like a smart business move...
I've heard this to happen in Miami quite a bit - younger guys can't compete with the older dudes with money, so they put an age restriction on entry.

24, my wife’s family used to be adamant on driving overnight to Disney World for Disney trips (to beat the traffic). After the third time doing it, I got sick again with sore throat on day two and three of the trip and I told her I’m never driving overnight again, and don’t ask… I need my sleep. Lack of sleep is a recipe for me to get sick real fast.

I’ve had a ton of quality control issues with my model X, (in the shop a ton), but I still have it because I use the full self driving so much and I’ve gotten very used to it. It is way safer than me driving.
Great for a show and/fun fun weekend with friends. I used to like gambling and playing blackjack, but the casino comps these days absolutely suck, they do not comp really anyone playing table games since they want you to play slot machines.

The guy was a machine. He was known to show up at street level drug deals in the US to let dealers know who they were ultimately dealing with…
One of the best scenes in Narcos was when some worker thought Pablo was dead, and told a room full of men they didn’t have to pay Pablo anymore.
Pablo then walked in… the tension in that scene was off the charts.

If you listen to radio, there are repetitive laundry detergent commercials, which cycle in and out every other day, - some woman screaming about rinsing out her clothes. Makes me change the channel to be honest.

LinkedIn is one giant corporate circle jerk.
1000% accurate. I despise that site, I only go there maybe once a year to make sure my profile is accurate. The so-called influencers on there in various professions act like they know everyone in the industry because they get linked-in likes. The Cringe ones are some defense lawyers.

I paid more than that, never again, you can DIY and order the bait and traps.
Yep, you can order the sentricon sticks on Ebay. I did that and bought an auger bit to put on my drill. I installed all 12 sentricon sticks around the home in an hour.

re: The American Healthcare System Is The Biggest Pile Of shite Ever Invented

Everytime I post a job ad for our business, I get flooded with people trying to leave medical billing. I would absolutely welcome the entire collapse of the American healthcare system and all the crappy jobs that come with it. And, If I pay for insurance, I pay NOTHING else for procedures/prescriptions.

That game was the most hard hitting game I ever saw; 2003 LSU v. Ole Miss. Both these teams wanted that game so bad, and without LSU winning, we don't win the title that year.
Seems like ozempic and these shots have killed the bariatric stomach stapling surgery business. I heard that from an anesthesiologist.

Yep- every serious runner has taken an explosive poo in the trees/garden/behind a building at some point in their careers.
Maybe a couple of Baja blasts could help blast out the crunchwraps every 5 miles.
There were some really bad Wagoneers (lemons) produced in the past few years. I know 2 people who bought them and forced a return.

Eventually, Amway shifted online in the early 00's to something called Quixtar
I got pulled into a Quixtar intro meeting while my sophomore year at LSU by a "friend". I remember them saying that it was not Amway!; and if you only paid the $80.00 signup fee, you would have your own immediate business.
I didn't pay it nor did I ever talk to those people again.
