This happened in December, but I never saw it posted.

The guy did sketchy shite as a teacher in Ascension. Ascension covered it up and he ended up in EBR. The police report from Florida shows on-going abuse. Former MIDDLE SCHOOL students have come forward since about weird interactions and text messages.

PENSACOLA, Fl. (WAFB) - A McKinley Middle School teacher has been placed on leave after being arrested in Florida on a felony charge involving a minor, according to officials.
The East Baton Rouge Parish School System said it was notified that an employee at the school had been booked in another state on a charge involving a minor.
According to arrest records from the Escambia County Sheriff’s Office, Trey King, 40, of Prairieville, was arrested on Monday, Dec. 15, on a felony count of lewd and lascivious molestation of a child under 16 by an offender over 18.
Investigators say the alleged incidents that led to the arrest occurred in May 2025, at Pensacola Beach. King is accused of inappropriately touching the victim against their will while at the beach, according to arrest documents. The report further states that this happened between 4-5 times.
A forensic interview was conducted as part of the investigation, and records reviewed by deputies placed King’s vehicle in Florida during the timeframe of the alleged incidents.
King was booked into the Escambia County Jail. His first court appearance is scheduled for January 9, 2026.
In the statement from EBR Schools, which was sent out to parents, the school system says, “We take all allegations of this nature extremely seriously. The employee has been placed on leave, and we are actively conducting a thorough investigation. We are working closely with authorities to gather additional details.”
It went on to say, “As this is an ongoing matter, we are unable to share further information at this time. The safety and well-being of our students and staff remain our top priority.”

I'm singin' at a funeral tomorrow
For a kid a year older than me
And I've been talkin' to his dad, it makes me so sad
When I think too much about it, I can't breathe
And I have this dream where I'm screamin' underwater
While my friends are wavin' from the shore
And I don't need you to tell me what that means
I don't believe in that stuff anymore
Jesus Christ, I'm so blue all the time
And that's just how I feel
Always have and I always will
I always have and always will
I have a friend I call
When I've bored myself to tears
And we talk until we think we might just kill ourselves
But then we laugh until it disappears
And last night I blacked out in my car
And I woke up in my childhood bed
Wishin' I was someone else, feelin' sorry for myself
When I remembered someone's kid is dead
Jesus Christ, I'm so blue all the time
And that's just how I feel
Always have and I always will
I always have and always will
And it's 4 AM again
And I'm doin' nothing
Again

What are the goals of this mission...just to go around the moon? Are there any other secondary goals, or is this just more of a test thing to see about getting people back to the moon?
It is to maintain funding, when it is obvious that the one-off model that NASA has used for years is not viable.
I honestly have a bad feeling about this one.

Every year, doctors at a hospital in the Yunnan Province of China brace themselves for an influx of people with an unusual complaint. The patients come with a strikingly odd symptom: visions of pint-sized, elf-like figures – marching under doors, crawling up walls and clinging to furniture.
The hospital treats hundreds of these cases every year. All share a common culprit: Lanmaoa asiatica, a type of mushroom that forms symbiotic relationships with pine trees in nearby forests and is a locally popular food, known for its savory, umami-packed flavor. In Yunnan, L. asiatica is sold in markets, it appears on restaurant menus and is served at home during peak mushroom season between June and August. One must be careful to cook it thoroughly, though, otherwise the hallucinations will set in. "At a mushroom hot pot restaurant there, the server set a timer for 15 minutes and warned us, 'Don't eat it until the timer goes off or you might see little people,'" says Colin Domnauer, a doctoral candidate in biology at the University of Utah and the Natural History Museum of Utah, who is studying L. asiatica. "It seems like very common knowledge in the culture there."
But outside of Yunnan and a couple of other places, the strange mushroom is largely an enigma. "There were many accounts about the existence of this psychedelic [mushroom], and many people who looked for it, but they never found the species," says Giuliana Furci, a mycologist and the founder and executive director of the Fungi Foundation, a non-profit group dedicated to discovering, documenting and conserving fungi. Domnauer is on a quest to solve the decades-old mysteries about this fungi species and identify the unknown compound responsible for its unusually similar hallucinations – as well as what it can potentially teach us about the human brain.
Domnauer first heard of L. asiatica as an undergraduate from his mycology professor. "It sounded so bizarre that there could be a mushroom out there causing fairytale-like visions reported across cultures and time," Domnauer says. "I was perplexed and driven by curiosity to find out more."

Penis size comes down to genetics and not evolution. If it were an evolutionary trait, none of us would feel inadequate as we'd all have big dicks.

To trudge: the slow, weary, depressing yet determined walk of a man who has nothing left in life except the impulse to simply soldier on.

Courtpacking will be the end of it all. SCotUS, despite its bad calls over the years, is the only thing left that protects our system. If a party packs it, it will start a cycle that does not end. You will eventually just have another Senate, but with no limit on its powers.
