Nick Saban Finally Addresses Rumor About Him Returning To Coaching
© Adam Cairns/Columbus Dispatch / USA TODAY NETWORK via Imagn Images
Rumors have been swirling as of late about Nick Saban returning to coach football. When asked about it he said he considered a return, but was really just cracking a joke about his chores around the house...
quote:

"You know, it's amazing to me that came up in the media, and the media speaks for you and thinks for you. I never really ever had the thought about getting back into coaching until two days ago, Mrs. Terry said I had to run the sweeper in the entire downstairs," Saban said. "So while I was running the sweeper, the thought occurred to me. When you are a coach, you have a heck of a lot better job than this. So that's the only time I considered it."

Saban added, "I'm really happy with what I am doing right now. It's exciting to still be involved in the game."

Did you know Bill Belichick was the HC there. I believe Nick Saban was an assistant there. .

We know how honest he is. So he’ll be back next year.

Everyone harps on the one time he said something and the did the opposite with the “I won’t be the coach at Alabama” line—the one outlier. He’s been pretty consistent with everything else he has said and I find it amusing people still try to use that example to “prove” that he’s dishonest.

He's never been anything but a liar and cheater. He was just the best at it.

And they all don’t see it and just think they’re being “edgy.”

I’d love to see coach saban back on the sideline in college or the nfl if that would make him happy. Much better than having to listen to douchenozzles like Pat on game day.

Imagine what they'd pay to get him back.

Saban needs to coach at Harvard... Maybe he influences those deep pockets to spend on NIL in stead of that nerd shite and make them a contender

He doesn't want to coach where he doesn't have an advantage.....that ship has sailed. Stay home and dust the furniture like a good boy.

I wouldn't "peg" Nick Saban as a guy who takes a submissive position with his wife.

Mansplaining alert: That’s how guys joke around. When known as being a discipline-focused leader, normal people see the humor of pretending to take orders from their wife.

You'd think with a username like yours, you'd have gotten the joke.

I bet she was thrilled to hear that he’s prioritizing his happiness of coaching football more than he like spending time with his own wife

Yea because she walks directly beside him while he sweeps a floor.
