A team is often a reflection of their coach. I hope that if anything, LR’s coach is now on the radar for bigger and better opportunities.
His players conducted themselves well and didn’t back down or cower to the raucous environment.
The coach even fully admitted adopting the “hold the rope” mantra from LSU. That’s an indication of his humility and his knack for being a motivator.

This would be a lot worse than Stony Brook. That Stony Brook team was peppered with draft picks particularly their center fielder.
Little Rock isn’t in the same league as that Stony Brook team. If LSU blows it tonight, give LR credit where it’s due. But it would be the most disappointing regional loss in the history of LSU baseball.

Gump’s constantly pull Alabama 2020 out of their arse. Fact is, that was a COIVID year where nobody really gave a shite.
Couple that with the fact that the gumps escaped again by literally not having to play any risky out of conference games (Like every year)
“But we played only SEC teams”- yeah the ones originally on your schedule…..like everyone else.
It’s not like they replaced the cancelled out of conference games with SEC teams.
Gumps cannot stand that 2019 LSU drags its nuts across any team Alabama has ever had
