How many times has Saban said that there is a QB competition since the end of NC game? A lot. I like Hurts but I think this is more of a "they aren't telling me what I want to hear" than it is a "they aren't telling me anything." Both QBs know this is a competition. What else is there to say really?

What has he accomplished? Wow, he's played college football! What an accomplishment. The only accomplishments that will matter in his life are the ones he makes in the classroom, and I can guarantee you I've accomplished more in that regard.

Sounds like the coaching staff failed to communicate where he was in comparison to Tua. That would be frustrating as a player. You always want and deserve to know where you stand.

How they going to tell him where he stands relative to tua over the spring and summer when tua broke his hand and couldn't practice?
