How many pages did you make it in this thread before jerking off?
I don’t go eat out for the waitress, but I’m pretty disappointed right off the bat if I sit down at the bar and a male bartender walks out.

There’s a window of enjoyment on the OT, but after that the threads and topics just repeat themselves and become less and less interesting each time.

Yea, I don’t know how Austin is sustainable. Most people here make less than anywhere else (because they get to live in Austin) yet the housing prices are out of control.

Add to that it’s a very hipster city...and I’m guessing all those hipsters and mellineals aren’t making very good money. The math doesn’t really add up.

It sort of comes and goes with the oil and gas industry.

I imagine homes that didn’t flood have become more valuable.

Houston is very affordable at least compared to Austin. Austin is getting out of control.
Was in SA for work recently and stayed in the Riverwalk. What a very nice, relaxing area. Brings in tons of revenue, tourism, etc. Great atmosphere, restaurants, and entertainment.

Why can’t BR have something like this? There is zero reason. Most will say demographic and ‘culture’ would ruin it, but all it takes is a little security. SA downtown has its share of riff raft but they do a great job of keeping that out of the Riverwalk. Same can be said of security and the Houston tunnel areas.

Something like this would be a huge tourist and economy boom for BR. I don’t understand why they refuse to progress. Most will reference ‘catfish town’ but that was a poor attempt and trashy version of what could be.
Because the hotels are complete shite. Stayed at a Marriot Courtyard for work a couple years ago and it was on the same level as a run down Motel 6. It is really amazing how shitty Baton Rouge is.
Don’t jump in my ride and immediately start adjusting all the vents, radio settings, etc. We’re going down the street for lunch. I’m sure you’ll make it fine without having to screw all my crap up.

If you’re just moving my truck around, don’t screw my seat all up. I’m sure you can handle the 5 seconds of discomfort to move my truck 20 yards out of the way and prevent me from having to spend several days trying to find my comfort sweet spot again.

You’re welcome.
What is the downside to buying a house at an auction? Is it just the risk of buying ‘as is’?

Are you given any time prior to inspect or look at the house?

You don’t say.......
Make sure you leave early to beat that traffic.
I’ll never understand why the people in the southeast part of this country can’t get out of their own way.
I really don’t understand why the common man doesn’t respect authority and let them do their job. 99% of the time someone in a position of authority knows what’s best for you. Let them do their job and fall in line!
The amount of littering in Louisiana compared to any other state is mind boggling. I really don’t understand it.
It’s anazing people treated other people this way as recent as 1940s. Scary to think if shite ever hit the fan here what humans would do to each other.
More importantly, why does CVS and Walgreens cashiers take 20 minutes to check one person out.
I don’t live in LA, AR, MS, or AL so I don’t hear racist shite on a daily basis by people who claim they aren’t racist.
