Then took door off hinges and beat the glass out. It was held in by a really resilient glue of some sort that I had to scrape off.

There you go. Taking the door off makes it easier to work on. Not 100% necessary but it works. Gives you some leverage

Get a wide putty knife and sharpen the edge. Get a heat gun and heat the knife and you can get behind the adhesive and scrape the old glass.
Glass shop should be able to take care of that. Probably a wood glass bead on the inside that gets removed. The divided lights need to be carefully removed. Usually you get a heat gun to soften the tape. But since it’s broken you can probably take the glass out and then scrape the glass from the sdl.

As far as price I don’t know. I’m out of touch in glass price. $300 glass, $300 labor?

I’m a big fan of repair.

But you have to address the issue of why it’s rotting. Changes are condensation is happening because that vent.
Either that or he grew 3” and lost 30 lbs
Certainteed was the best for a long time. But others have caught up. Never liked dealing with Atlas customer service. OC duration with that sure nail is pretty solid. I just always thought certsinteed weathered wood was just the best color.

Also the last few years I have noticed more spotted sections of shingles. Like the packs have different shades. Not sure if that’s from the factory or retail. Can’t believe the amount of homes they just seem to accept it like that. Definitely always make sure the numbers match on all the packs.

Part of it has to do with insurance too. In the past alot of workers' comp insurers would give pretty hefty discounts if you had a 0 tolerance drug policy in place. That is changing a bit now obviously.

Discount was probably negligible to the already ridiculous cost. Also I got sued by an employee that positive tested after an accident. So really just workers comp is a piece of shite.
Wait until people see what it cost to replace those shitty batteries in a couple of years. I figure about 5 gallon of gas does my yard for the year.
Grinder with wood cutting blade. Make sure your riding mower has a welded deck. Maybe a drill and some stump out may take care of the tree.

Roundup mixed strong and applied by hand with a latex glove has always worked for me. Much easier than digging.

Roundup make a gel that looks like deodorant. Thought it would be easier application. It doesn’t work.

Always wanted to try a cloth glove on top of latex. Just to not drip as much roundup.
That’s a 5k truck off alibaba. Rather just pull a trailer with my golf cart

Cold beer and a shovel.

The Trex furniture is absolutely HPDE
you talking about a whole different thing. Trex furniture is poly wood. They have a licensed agreement with polywood. Trex decking is not the same.

Call the people in the link you had and find out who distributes and then call them and see if there are any dealers near you. Again I don’t think that stuff is easy to work with. I know azek trim is pvc and mills nice but has not structural integrity. I have custom milled pvc rails at my house but they are aluminum backed.
Trex is not a true hdpe. It’s a composite. Most of those deck boards are not good for making anything other than a deck.

I lost that one night out all fricked up. Don’t know why I went out with cash but I dropped it somewhere.
