Meh idk Samsung makes a pretty reliable device, software on Iphone was not bug free for me either. Its all about what people are used to its not hard to switch and get used to another operating system theres a learning curve but its not hard. People who say they stay with apple because of the ecosystem is just an excuse to not try new things. Google and Samsung are just as integrated now and seamless. Never know what you're missing until you try new things. The only thing i do miss about Apple was the Apple Credit Card and daily cash back. Was easy to make purchases and pay bill and utilize the cash back system. Other than that the experience was meh for me i dont facetime all the time or rarely ever and theres google meet for that wife and i can face time easily from my phone to her iphone pretty easily using meet.
Never saw that happening I'll be honest, I'll eat my crow but good to have him back.

Apple is good for people who don't like tech. So chics and kids and old people keep them relevant. They need easy to use simplistic devices. If you like tech and latest and greatest you like Android. I tried apple for 2 years and was just too boring and never felt like they upgraded anything. Every update I was getting a "new" feature I had on android devices for years. It's too locked down for my liking
