Cristobal also noted that Miami "won convincingly" in its SEC matchup against the Florida Gators at Gainesville. The Hurricanes also have a common opponent with the Crimson Tide, who each handily defeated South Florida.

However, Cristobal feels Miami's 50-15 win over South Florida was more impressive than Alabama's 42-16 victory against the American conference opponent.

"I would say teams showcased very different capabilities in terms of their control of the football game," Cristobal said of those contests against South Florida. "So I think there's enough comparables out there that gives you an opportunity to see what versus who. And at the same time, Miami ends the season with the No. 1-ranked offense in the country.
