What about all the black women who seem obsessed with wearing long, blonde, wigs and how much does Michelle pay some Hollywood hairstylist to straighten her nap?

facts have never mattered to the left; remember when Rush Limbaugh often stated that to be a leftists, all you have to do is FEEL
Rush used to also say the it was the seriousness of the charge and not the nature of the evidence that mattered to the left. This gave them carte blanche to lie and obfuscate with no consequences.

I wonder if Tillman Fertitta is any relation to the Fertitta family from WBR/Iberville Parishes.

Mr. Meriwether was a big supporter of the Rebels - both Lee High and Ole Miss. He would count down the days to teal season on a sign at this station "40 days TTS."
There was the National grocery store (and a One Hour Martinizing and Fidelity National Bank) in between them and I remember it as a Mobil station, but he may have rebranded. His original location, an Esso station, was where Red Zeppelin Pizza is today at Pickett Avenue. My friend and I would go to the former to get old lead tire weights. We'd melt them to make fishing tackle. Good times breathing lead fumes. That part of town has changed so much, but it was a great place to grow up.

Then that leaves of Jerry Stovall; I believe he actually finished his college degree from Missouri Baptist University when he was playing with the Cardinals.

It was a Pak-a-Sak.
Pak-a-Sak merged with Southland Corporation (7-11) in 1971. You must be old like me if you remember the P-a-S.
There was a kid who lived on Pollard Parkway who worked at that Pak-A-Sak who had just graduated from Lee High School. He was on his way to work driving his VW Beetle (in the summer of 1968) when he lost control of his car at the front of Pollard. He hit the concrete embankment for a ditch running underneath Pollard Parkway and his car exploded on impact; he was killed instantly. We used to hang out by that ditch back-in-the-day and there was still melted plastic residue on the concrete; there's an impact stain there to this day.
