True. More specifically managerial ties though.

I challenge you Tommy boy supporters to refute this article.

I'm not saying he's 100% right, but you're not gonna agree with 99% of Congress. He definitely overplayed his hand but he's generally right

For better or worse they were always gonna lean on someone with ties to the club and/or Pep. Honestly thought it'd be Arteta before he got the arsenal job. Enrique isn't available. Wouldn't mind Emery TBH.

Kompany keeps popping up but I don't want him to follow Pep. Maresca or whoever is gonna have sky high expectations. Hopefully Khaldoon stays patient. Vinnie is an absolute club legend and I don't want to taint that. In a couple years? Sure. We need some time to breathe and realize that we're in a post-Pep timeline though.

can see him taking a year or two off depending on what Spain does this summer and what their federation decides to do afterwards.

Absolutely. He finally got back with his wife and I can see him taking some time away.

He won't manage Spain with his deep rooted Catalian independence ties

I honestly have no idea what he does if he decides to manage again. I could see him doing a national side because the intensity is so much lower but at the same time I think his system and tactics would t work with a national squad.

He's 55 and arguably the GOAT. I honestly could see this being it for him. Might go into an FB ops role but I just don't see him jumping back in anytime soon.

Wonder how much the B1G is paying that insane beyotch

Can't be much considering how much they spend on covering up sex abuse and rapists.
There's a quote about him. Idk if it was from the article or just brought up because of it but I saw it today and it makes sense. I think it was finebaum maybe?

Basically said "he's either an incredibly open person or he's so full of shite he's made it an art and I still don't know which it is"

I think he's a solid coach and IDGAF what he says in whatever interviews as long as he wins, but that does make sense

Where does the "Tigers" nickname come from

Their mascot was a slave owner like 20 years ago.

In fairness to Jay he also said there wasn't a quick fix for this season and they'd have to address it for next season.

And we had much better pitching in 2022 than in the '26 clusterf*ck.

That staff was held together with bubble gum and shoestrings. Kelly absolutely crushed it that year.
That was bad but normally dude has a hose.

Anyone calling for Yeskie's head is an absolute moron. And this thread is full of them.

Yup. Evans was good at letting it rip last year, there's a transition you have to make there. Schmidt had great stuff but command has been an issue. He has improved, though maybe not as much as we hoped...it happens. Moore went down. Paz is a freshman facing arguably the best offense in the conference at their place.

Some changes need to be made but Yeskie's seat is cold as ice.

This is funny. Hermes is another level, for sure.

My wife has one. We aren't rich by any means but we have some friends that are from HELLA wealthy families in DFW. My wife's purse broke before we went out one night. We happened to be at one of these friend's mother's houses and she asked my wife if she needed a purse. She brought up like 5 and my wife goes "oh no these are way too nice to borrow, I'll have (my name) carry my ID and stuff." Lady says "I'm not crazy about any of these, just take them"

Winner. PG is Zeppelin at their best IMO
The expectations are that they'll chimp out so if it does happen then it's no big deal.

I'm still leery of him but he's solidly #2 behind Vance. Things may have changed, but Rubio isn't a great campaigner. He's better than DeSantis, but neither hold are Vance.

like Tim Brando. He does a good job calling games or being the studio guy. He’s fine with me.

At those things, he's solid.

Outside of that, he's a self absorbed prick.

Fleming spelled out exactly what happened . Landry people ran interference and assisted in blocking fleming getting the endorsement.

Fleming also pointed out Letlow only got in race once the “ok”was given she would get trumps endorsement .

Accurate.
