but it would be way better to pay off the damn debt and balance the fricken budget.
ALL in! Take the tariff funds and apply them dollar for dollar to the debt. It is good for us now and our kids in the future. Reduce the foreign influence on our finances by reducing WHO & HOW much is held by other countries.

Love the $10,000 Bonus, hate the post.
Shows how disconnected he is with the avg American worker who has not been paid for over 5 weeks. It's absurd to threaten these workers & call them un-American. Cue the jumping up and down & stamping of feet melt down.
Also shows how naive he is, and anyone advising him on this topic, as you simply don't replace someone at ATL or DFW, tomorrow, with someone new or even qualified from another facility. It takes months to get qualified at our larger airports and safely assume those duties (airspace, airport surface areas, emergency procedures, etc).

He can’t get the play out of the huddle, players to the LOS and the ball snapped before burning TOs or taking delay penalties. It has been a problem all season. He shows little to no field awareness.
He was savvy in the pocket and made some nice passes while moving under pressure. He obviously needs max PT/reps through the remainder of the season. Would love to say he could be the guy in 26 and use our picks in the upcoming draft to address DE, WR & yes sadly OL, again.
About time. MVB should play the rest of the season so the program can see if he can be the guy in 26, or portal here we come. Set the next HC for success by giving MVB reps.

I know everyone agrees, but it just adds more fuel to the fire that Loomis needs to GO. You can't miss on this many 1st rd picks. Scares the shiate out of me that he may have his fingers on the 1st pick in next year's draft....
He is the definition of insanity, repeating the SAME thing over and over again and expecting a different result.

IF it happens, it will be announced after the Bama game. CNS doesn't want to upstage the game and certainly would not want to walk back into that stadium as the newly announced LSU HC.
Take your shot LSU, and let's see what unfolds.

Amen! He is only bringing unwanted and unneeded attention to the process.

I like what I heard, and the way he said it, and he is definitely passionate about what LSU SHOULD be. I certainly hope he gets an interview so he can make his case as to why he is the right hire for our program.

Hire Josh Brooks ASAP

Tell doofus Landry to stop talking
Then once we’re under normal operations after a few weeks to a month goes by nobody will remember this circus
THIS. Someone needs to keep the GOV off talk radio and other sports shows. Give him some blocks to play with and let the adults move forward with hiring a new AD & HC. The more this guy talks, the more challenging it will become for LSU to hire the right people to lead this program. Talk about undue, unwanted AND unneeded influence.

I’m Slightly Worried
MORE worried about the shiate show the GOV is turning this vacancy into, by the day, and the impact it may have on finding the right HC and now AD to lead our program. It's all over talk radio. He needs to step back and have a cup of STFU.
:geauxtigers:
quote:
Yeah, many dont like RC. But, I give him credit for telling Landry he needs to STFU and stay the frick out of LSU sports
Spot on! Landry's unnecessary and unwanted interference is going to turn this into something that will drive away top candidates and turn this process into a circus which is going to also impact recruiting and any portal inbounds.

He got that dawg in him for sure. Just not sure he is prepared to take this big of a jump.
Very honest assessment and I like KS. I believe he would be shocked to see and hear what the CFB staffs are living with, daily, IRT NIL and the portal. Specifically, everything that comes with them: MONEY, donators/collectives, agents, parents, players, year-round roster retention, etc. Oh yeah and still build a highly competent staff to recruit, prepare/plan, coach & develop, and WIN. MUCH has changed since he was at LSU. I believe recent experience and success in the college ranks needs to be weighed appropriately when they grade candidates.
CEO's remarks in the locker room post Bama were spot on at the time & moment. Regardless of what you think of him as a HC/person, he had an undeniable passion for LSU.
I always liked the pregrame snapping of the chin straps in the locker room - "1, 2, 3 CLICK.....Tiger's going to war".

re: Jon Sumrall gives off Saban vibes.

Sumrall definitely has some positive things going for him, but that 45-10 L to Ole Miss stands out as a totally non-competitive game. Call it talent or a bad day, but to me it is a red flag. I'm sure he'll be part of the interview process and I'll defer to our search team as he is evaluated against others.
