re: Damn proud of our defense.

Playing inspiring FB!...
Gotta look around; don't lock on a guy. He has missed some open opportunities. Stay balanced in the 2d half and bring this game home....
Night and day from 1st to 2d qtr. He looked scared early on, no other way to say it. He was not looking to throw it downfield. In the 2d qtr he was getting the ball out to guys in stride. Still need to get C Durham going in the running game and screen game. Green AND Taylor can help us; don't f...

re: Four point game at half!

Zy Alexander has looked VERY good. Stamps has been inconsistent. Defends one play well, then gives up a cushion play. If Burns just turns around on their last TD pass, he intercepts it. You knew LK would get their best WR against our worse cover guy. Front 6-7 need to find a away to get throu...

re: frick me sloan put in Green or Pimpton

Baffled that Green was not on the field for the last two series, especially after the fumble recovery. We had them right where we wanted for TDs. WTF??!!...
Contest throws. No one running free in the secondary and when they throw the deep ball up for grabs look back and play the ball. Zy returning is important. The DL/LBs getting after Dart's arse all day and dropping him will help immensely....

re: Investment Portfolio Advice

Just passing along from personal experience. Recommend you look at a Utilities based mutual fund or ROTH IRA. My wife and I started a Utility based fund & Pharma/Med based fund on the same exact days in 1994. While both have done well, the Utility fund is worth ~100K more. Pay yourself first eve...
Please forgive my struggles filling this summary. The first one is more difficult for me than the ones following due to several factors including my unfamiliarity of the players, my forgetfullness of the stats I need to keep up with, and my inattention of the action due to my visiting with my...
She just sent me an Alex jones video
So people, somewhere, are taking advice from Alex Jones IRT whether we can control the path of a hurricane. :rotflmao: You can't make this stuff up.......

re: Kiffin trick play

Posted by HC87 on 10/9/24 at 10:25 am
Not a trick play, but at some point during the game I'm sure LK will raise both arms & smile in celebration, well in advance of a throw, as he believes his 'play-calling' has created an opportunity to score. Then I want to see a LSU DB pick it off and somene can tell LK to put your arms down bi...
Young secondary. All of our DB's could really take a step forward as a group by negating any wide open looks and contesting throws all game. OM is going to throw up some deep passes. We need to turn around, find the ball, and make plays. Don't give the refs an excuse to throw a cheap flag. ...
Arnsparger
Yes, 84-86. IMO he revived the program, especially with recruiting. Two Sugar Bowl games in three seasons. Got Tommy Hodson on board which paved the way through 89. Wish he had stayed longer....

Close to the end, the random, single LSU fan running by slapping the Vandy King on the back in congratulations was hilarious. Yep, we are enjoying this. :rotflmao: ...
Long slow drives with CD. Gas their D and rest ours.
THIS and don't give up the big plays over the top. They are going to look for matchups and take shots downfield. Defend them, better yet pick em off. Play sound DEF and extend drives on OFF leading to TDs. Hope the home crowd...
Aggie and hog looking tough now.
They did today, no doubt. Lot of tough games ahead on the schedule. :geauxtigers:...
I didn't until yesterday
AND add a OM win next weekend. Do that and yes we are in the mix as a top 10 team and CFP team. Lot of meat left on the bone this season, lot to play for..... :geauxtigers:...
He has been outstanding. His touchbacks eliminate any explosive returns by the opposition & puts them at the 25 to help the DEF. Keep it up!...
For informal eating with family & friends - Breakfast/Brunch: Ruby Slipper Cafe Lunch: Domilise's or Parkway for a great po-boy Dinner: New Orleans Food & Spirits (gumbo is superb) or Salvo's if you want boiled seafood or another po-boy ...
