re: Look forward to golf

That’s golf.

I squeezed in 9 holes after work Thursday. 3 pars, 4 bogeys, 1 double and yes one triple when I hit a tree on the left side of a fairway drive and lost a ball. Same time next wee, and we’ll do it again.

Wade GOOD but not ELITE

Fair point. While at LSU I thought his tourney teams had warts that led to early elimination. The lack of discipline to stick with & run their Offense often led to panicking and getting off bad shots.

With that said I think he knows what NIL and the portal can do for a program and he has seen firsthand what it takes to compete & succeed in both the SEC & ACC.

I never jump in these threads, but I live in coastal N.C. and my neighbor's son is a NCSU Alum & Wolfpack Club Member. He just got a text from him saying WW is leaving NCSU for LSU. Waiting until after 1 April when the buyout goes down. We'll see....

That is what he keeps telling you....like the downtown mob scene in Animal House, "remain calm, all is well" and he gets trampled.

some of these pictures are wild

Looks like the scene from the newer "Longest Yard" movie, when the team is getting off the bus....yikes!

Yep, the son replacement is a more hard-liner than his father and the Strait is now a mess, total mess which Iran has clearly learned they can leverage as key terrain as they desire. And all the while at home we have unidentified drones flying over our military installations.
Evans was in the zone last night dealing with all of his pitches. Great to see and I hope he continues to build upon that outing. Let's stack some wins.

Love it, I remember the big barrel showed up in LL for the first time in the late 70's (78 to be exact). They were different and had some pop.

My son and his teammates, 14-15 years ago, were big fans of the Demarini Vodoo models. They were BBCOR, but they had some flex & pop. Around that same time Demarini was blazoned on the LSU dugout wall.
Good stuff.

That was funny.

It's lame that the administration is continuing to sell this dumbed down "they were going to attack us first" thing as a defense to Kent's statement.

Spot on! The more they even try to explain it, the more incompetent they sound.
Who is being outmaneuvered? That's rich.

So glad we built a coalition (even if via back channels to retain an element of surprise) & prepared for branches/sequels (closing the Strait of Hormuz) prior to kicking off combat ops.

We should be shifting a proportion of sorties & missile strikes to Iranian critical capabilities that allow them to influence the strait.

We gave up 13, 11 and 9 runs.

No doubt, and we HELPED them all weekend with a combined 28 free passes over a 3-game series. Tell anyone you are going to give the other team 28 free bases, and you are going to get swept, by crooked numbers.

We played better on Sunday for a W, and I believe most would agree we should have won the Friday night opener. The team has much work to do. The core-players (Milam, Brown, Curiel, Stanfield, etc) of this team need to pull & push the others with them, and we need to figure out the pitchers who can consistently pound the zone in SEC play. If you can't, have a darn seat.

Let's build on the Sunday W and keep moving forward.

re: Last year LSU had great pitching

It starts with a strike and it is amazing to see pitchers at this level have no control of the zone, none. I can't recall seeing that many free passes in years of watching travel ball, HS and Legion ball.

You can't win if you can't throw strikes, period. I'm a huge CJJ fan, but It reflects poorly on these pitchers (physical & mental makeup) and the coaches. NO other way to say it.

Yep the Iranians will have NO nukes

That capability was supposedly "obliterated" last year.....

Objectives, Measures of Effectiveness (to include the ability to pivot to branches/sequels, i.e closing the Strait of Hormuz) and Endstate (with exit strategy). We'll see, but the almost daily changing narrative does not help their case, the financial markets, and the confidence of the American people.

And there you go. Instead of outright denying/lying, etc, claim accountability and explain in detail the UNCLASS targeting process to include the legitimate military targets that were placed in close proximity to the school. Cite other examples near hospitals, mosque's, etc. We went through this in 2003. The administration's accountability and messaging are poor at best.

Fair statement, he was an effective 3-down LB. Hope the current group is fast enough to meet their coverage assignments.

Damn right it is.

If he's not out of position thats a routine fly ball. Idk if someone put him out of position, or if he put himself there.

THIS! He got burned. Whether that be due to his own positioning or the coaches. With that said he didn't look comfortable trying to catch up. Seems odd that they took two very solid OFs, LF & CF, and swapped them....but in CJJ I trust.

drone defense tech needs to have a very large budget to combat China.
THIS!

Lot a back-slapping going on in DOW for weaponized drones, and yes they are a superb complimentary weapons system. Leveraging their integration with our arty, missiles/rockets, mortars, and fixed wing/rotary wing fires makes us more lethal.

COUNTER-UAS tech/systems are a must to protect our critical assets (flight line aircraft, ships, personnel, etc.). This is going to be our Pearl Harbor if we are not prepared for it. We already have unidentified sUAS's flying over some of our military installations and we must become more capable & resilient to ID, track and engage them.

It is continues to be true, GOOD things happen when you throw strikes.
