I expect DJU will be the best QB we see all season. Along with that, they have some very highly rated WRs but seem fairly unproven with the exception of Justyn Ross. I believe their WRs can exploit our CBs if we can't get a pass rush. As for their O Line, it looks undersized and struggles to run block. I like our ability to make them one-dimensional. Their RBs are mostly 4-star guys who look like they'll be good but nothing spectacular, at least nothing we haven't seen before.

Defensively they'll probably have the best D Line we face in the regular season. Run blocking is a concern considering how we did against Cincinnati and MSU. Their LBs outside of Trenton Simpson look slow and unathletic who struggle against the pass. Their CBs as a unit are decent. However, their safeties are slow and overall pretty dreadful. Our WRs should be able to feast on them.

I think the difference will be our D Line dominating their O Line and our WRs blazing past that slow-arse white boy they have out there at safety. Late in the game, I believe we'll wear them down and show our talent advantage.

Maybe I'm underestimating Clemson a little bit but I believe Ohio State revealed some noticeable talent deficiencies on their roster in the Sugar Bowl.

Dawgs - 34
Clemson - 24

I believe Clemson will be favored by about 4-6 points. My concerns are the DB, OL, and injuries already sustained.

It's going to come down to Dawgs Oline vs Clemson Dline.

If Dawgs are solid there, W.

If not, L.

I really think we are the better team. That doesnt mean the better team always wins, but I am confident four months out.

I’m sorry I don’t do impressions. My training is in psychiatry.

They have a good team with a championship culture. Dabo will have them pissed and ready for that game. They have some matchup issues they’ll cause us However, it’s our time. JT won’t let that team lose. Our D-Line will abuse them criminally. They’ll get their few sacks, hurries, TFL, etc... but we’ll get more. Oh yeah... we also have Big O #0... they won’t stop him nor will anyone on our schedule next year. It’ll be relatively close throughout but the Dawgs pull away in the 4th. 41-27.

IDK bout that.

Clemson is pretty damn solid at DL but I do think our DL is a much better matchup vs their OL.

This will be our best DL since the early 2000's...probably better.Cant wait to see em take the field.

Let's just hope everyone stays healthy in fall camp.

Hopefully they move the game to Sunday and Atlanta/Mercedes Benz Stadium. I think the Clemson/Ga rivalry should happen every year like it did pre-1992. This was is just overall good for college football. This was a great local rivalry as the 2 schools are only 1 1/2 hours from each other. Still neither school wants to toughen their schedule more every season. Maybe a playoff expansion would encourage tougher non-conference schedules.

Ohio St abused them and I don't think Ohio St was all that good last year.

I think we will win this game by 14 if our WRs have sticky fingers. I think they will have a good run stopping game, and we do not have that dominant RB that we're used to having. Will have to strike first.

My impression could change a lot between now and the fall, depending on how Kirby fills the minimum 3 open slots we have. A high impact CB or two coming in from the portal could alter how we need to play defense.

If the game were played now, they're favored. Our OL isn't gelled; they seemed to struggle at G-Day. And we don't have a lock-down CB at the moment.

Having multiple top Oline recruiting classes and getting guys like Rosemy-Jacksaint back gives the Dawgs an advantage over Clemson. Dawgs have questions in the secondary but guess what, so do Clemson.

Marcus Rosemy one handed catch(rehab/practice)

According to KS, the Dogs aren't there at the OL yet. So, my concerns are still the OL, DB, and injuries.

In fairness, do you expect him to say "Yeah, we've got the CFP championship on lock this year."?

You think we are "there" right now on the OL?

Left to right, who is getting the start against clemson?

Not in the least. The bowl game could've gone much differently if the patchwork OL that Luke pulled together hadn't worked the way it had, but no one is saying we're there at OL.

If DJU plays well and their DL mauls us, it could be a tough one to win.

However, if we are able to pound them in the run game and get JT a few catches for TD's, I think we win by 7-10 pts.
