McCray is a beast but, he's slow.

I think Bowens is UGA's best RB.

Dawgs have had a little help from MSU but, after MSU got up 7-0, the Dawg defense has played as well as they've played all season. I still don't understand some of Bobo's calls. He still goes away from the running game a bit too much. Then, there were a few low percentage play calls that had me throwing my cloth hand towel at the tv. The screen to Branch was very nice. Getting the ball to start the second half is nice too.

Dawgs defense had better stay focused because you can bet the MSU HC will throw the kitchen sink at them the rest of this game.

Are you saying all these rankings are just in the SEC? Not nationwide?
The offense has improved from the start of the season, although their performance against the gators was a bit lacking. The defense has not improved since the start of the season. There's talent all over the place but, the LOS, both on offense and defense is probably the weakest positions on this team. Depth, injuries, and inexperience are a huge part of the problem.

This season? Yes, there are issues that we haven't seen in a long time. Kirby is the HC, right? It's his ship to sail.
Great start for the UGA offense. gators have a decent defense so, Dawgs need to get on top and stay on top.

How can I be sharp about anything here with my low amount of posts? I see the world as I see it, and while I'm not a sunshine pumper, neither am I a negative Nancy. I've followed UGA football since Jan. of 1968, and was very close to coming to UGA from HS as a FB player. Knee injury ended that.

This team has been behind more than it's been ahead in it's SEC games and this started during the 2023 season. 24 got worse, and 25 is a hot mess in many ways. THAT is what I base my "prediction" thoughts on.

I've been around football most of my life. I've played, and coached. Both children, and adults. I'm pretty sure I have as much, or more FB knowledge as anyone here on this message board.

So, you can like it, or not.

The gators will come out and play with their hair on fire (they have absolutely nothing to lose), and UGA will continue it's stumbling, bumbling effort until sometime in the second half. It's their identity. Now, when they do decide to start playing, will it be soon enough?

I want UGA to win badly but, I could see this one getting away from them.

I guess we'll see on Saturday.
I'll be 70 in April. Still young at heart.
We usually take 2 nice vacations each year. Back in early August, we went to Michigan to a family wedding. Then, in September, we drove up to Maine and many points west and south before returning home.

Wife doesn't know it yet but, I'm taking her to Hawaii. Due to some medical issues, it'll have to wait until next year.
And, we've known each other 49 years. Obviously, I out kicked my coverage.

I'd be ok with any of them leaving...starting with Searles.
They'll look like world beaters when they play UGA.
