Complete dog shite of a movie. I want my money back and I pirated the movie off the internet.

The movie looks cheap. Mamoa looks like he is in bad white face paint. This movie might have the worst cover of all time. Its a Sarah McLaughlin type cover of The Middle by Jimmy Eat World, and its the big third act needle drop.

Milly Alcock is bad. The villain is worse, and even as a dog lover, Im over the shoehorning of Krypto as emotional terrorism.

Not sure how I feel about Wes leaving Volchko in this long. I get that you want to save your bullpen but he needs to come back and pitch at least one more time and he's now at a career high # of pitches after setting his previous career high last week.

He's a college pitcher that always pitches on 7 days rest. No chance he was or is going to come back before the championship series. Wednesday would be 4 days rest and would push him to game 3 of the championship series on another 4 days rest. No chance that would ever happen. He's the game 1 starter next Saturday unless the are in the losers bracket and have to have a couple of innings to save their season. Vigue/Brown/Scott are going to have to pitch game 3.

99-Tom Brady
92-Derrick Henry
96-Antonio Brown
93-CeeDee Lamb
94-Travis Kelce
90-Marshal Yanda
89-Terrell Suggs
96-Micah Parsons
88-Darren Sharper

Like story wise? Or tonally?

Little of both. If you looking for a War of the Worlds type of movie, you'll be disappointed.

I would say it feels like a mashup of Close Encounters, a good M Night film, and Super 8.
Blunt gives an Oscar worthy performance. She is the heart of the movie.

Its definitely not going to be what everyone expects. Its disjointed at places and doesnt totally make sense at times, but Spielberg nails the third act. Just a beautiful finale.
When the Queen needle drop hit, signaling the beginning of the third act, the movie hit another level.

Fun, and self aware of who and what He-Man is. I need more Battle Cat.
Some of my pickups from a show yesterday. Having to change my buying strategy for now since PSA has shut down bulk grading.

Anyone want a free SRO ticket for this afternoon? Im not going to be able to go.

E.T. was the last movie to increase from second week to third.
It was fine., I guess.

A couple of creepy scenes in the backrooms but nothing really scary, and for the most part, boring.

The B plot with Reinsve's character was not necessary and head scratching.
TCG is almost all the business now. Sports cards are down big. TCG is basically half or more at every show I go to now.

Looking at the reports, in the past week,

TCG-305,000
Baseball-9,200
Basketball-8,200
Football-7,000
Non-Sport-2,200
Hockey-1,400
Soccer-1,200
Wrestling/MMA-300

Also, the $80 level might be stopped as well, but I can’t confirm that.
BTW, PSA will be announcing either Thursday or Friday that they will be closing all bulk submissions. So if you have an order you want to get in, you will have until Monday. After they close, the cheapest level will be $80. You can that Pokemon and One Piece for overwhelming PSA with submissions(to go along with PSA just sucking the life out of grading).
Here's some of my favorite slabs from my latest PSA order.

One of my first memories was going to see Gremlins with two of my cousins. I was around 3 at the time.

I watched whatever I picked out at the video store in the early 90s from Color of Night to Sleepaway Camp.
Since its Star Wars release week, here's my Grougu variation PSA 10 along with a couple of PC cards I recently got back from authentication.

Had the highest of expectations. Been a huge Barker and Tomlinson fan for a while now. The movie absolutely delivered.

5* instant classic. First movie Ive given 5* since 2019 and the best horror movie since The Witch/The Wailing. I just sat there during the credits. Gobsmacked. Inde Navarrette gave one of the best performances of the century.

Curry Barker just gets it. The score. The use of shadows/darkness was perfect. Great blocking/camera placement, and he was a huge highlight as the customer service voice.

The two movies it reminded me the most of was Smile for the female performance and the original Halloween for the technical perfection.

#1 anticipated movie of the year for me. I love their comedy skits and Milk and Serial was an incredible first film for them.

I havent watched a trailer. I dont want any detail spoiled about the film. I bought my One Wish Willow when they were announced. Ill be seeing the movie on Saturday.
